Yeah. Germany just felt like the USA players shouldn't be part of it at all. So that is why they give a big advantage to German and other countrys over there. They all hate NA.

Just for the record this is my favorite game also, I have played EVERYDAY since the day I joined. I have spent much money on gems to better my island (as many others have too) I don't think I'm a coward for being so mad I'm ready to quit after being crapped on over and over with unfair events and gem sales. It's their 20th anniversary, why because loyal people like myself have played this game, spent money on this game, and we are being asked to use all our resources to make balloons to compete in a world wide event with servers that are miles a head of us. Who were notified prior to us of phase 2 start up. Wouldn't have been nice if they just gave us 20 days of "thank-you" gifts to celebrate 20 years? They don't have to epic building just something small.
I have read your posts, I know that you go to bat for us all the time, I'm not saying I am going to quit I have spent the last 3 days making balloons to try to help move us up, but after seeing everything regarding this event I'm pretty pissed off right now.

I do have to agree that the event is very heavily favoring the German servers.
Phase 1 was suppose to help them decide up to match us up. Yet the match up is really not very fair at all.
No offense to Ares but they were the one of the bottom servers. I think they should have done 3 server match up for our server instead of just 2 servers.
The German donated more balloons in phase 1 than we did. reached 100% way faster. Yet we got paired with Ares one of the slowest donation servers.
I don't believe this event is very fair. The gems for the fastest and most will go to the German server.
Plus we started very late as well. with no announcement of when the phase 2 will start. nor announcement of when phase 2 even started.
No prior announce and no announcement the day of the event.
Huge disadvantage. Not to mention that the event starts with the US being asleep.
Its demoralizing.
I agree, the so-called "fairness" they preach doesn't seem to be as they say it is. Maybe they need to look up the definition of "fairness"?

1 in 20 positive feedback seems to be about right on the English forum as well. Look at the final standings and tell me the Coupling for the English servers was anywhere 'fair'.
I smell trouble....or fireworks either way.....

No one has to buy gems. It is not a requirement to play the game.

Very true, when i want people to come buy from me i try to gauge them as much as possible.. ive heard this is the way to get repeat customers..
And this wouldnt be a huge issue, if they didnt claim that all servers are "fair" which is saying all servers are "equal" and this is not the case, not even close. but keep sucking up to BB. itll get you no where.

Not to mention the German servers got to 100% in phase 1 in about a day. USA1 limped in at 14th place after 2 1/2 days and we get paired with USA2 which finished with what? high 50s%. How about we don't get paired with another server celebrating July 4th. Super competitive.
