Guilds Updates

Hello Everyone,

Its time for another Update! with my favorite subject in mind, Guilds!

1. Interfaces. I am going to show several pictures here, some you have seen before, but they are important to show the full picture.


Below you can see the new button, Step Down. With it i will be sent down the command chain.

Here is the New stuff, as you can see, there is my name, level, What Guild Rank i am, Active, Guild quest, and Next-in-line for leader.

Now its been a while as leader, but i can see that nothing here has changed. Can Anyone tell me what the Details section are for?

Thats it for now! If i missed something let me know, as you can see i am the only member there so its a bit hard to see what is on the members side.

(ps, yes Officer and normal Guild chat is still there)

Update: Sorry everyone, i changed guilds so that i could be leader, and there is a 24 hour cooldown.

At 10:12 EST tomorrow i can start the news.

you know if the detail page (one where shows active or not) is for guild leader only or officers too?

That is public. All members can see that, and i did not see any options to change privacy.

well hopefully it will skip inactive officers instantly, as current active officers cant remove inactive officers. so if a leader is inactive, and officers are inactive, were looking at about half a year before we would have a officer that is active that could log on, take the responsibility so he could then decide if he/she wanted to run the guild or pass it to another member.

i think there should be allowed a vote in tab. where active members of the guild vote for who they want to be leader. this way not just a random active officer will fall into the position.

maybe make it to where leaders cant be changed more then once a month since everything is about time here.. but lets not throw a random as leader please :))

Ya a vote would be nice.

if i understand this right the guild leader has to be inactive for a while right? or is going to be like "you are the weakest link" and get booted?

No, a leader can be removed by 2 differnt ways.

1. The Leader can click a button called "Step down". If he clicks that he goes down a rank and the next player in line goes up to leader.

2. If the Leader is inactive for a while, (time not yet set) he is automatically removed from the leader rank and the next in line goes up. From there the new Leader could kick the old one.

I still prefer to select my successor as a first response. A leader needs to do succession planning before going inactive :-)

A new update will be preformed on the TSO TESTING Server.

If it relates to Guilds, i will update here, as normal.
