Dear Bluebyte, We Would like Equal treament! 3X Gem sale :(

Hello Bluebyte,

I am sad to see that the German servers received a 3x gem sale and that at the same time, the US servers had a 50% more sale. This was on the fourth of July. A few days later we discovered the British servers received the same 3x sale. The most we have ever recieved in the US is a 2x sale. That was once and was not even for a whole day.

I would like to know when the US servers will be getting a 3x sale. Handling relations in this manner is what annoys people. A few people have quit due to such handling and several people have stated they will not buy any more gems until we are treated similarly.

Again, when will we be treated to the same sale the Germans, and then the British received?

I am only speaking for myself when i say this but (after spending almost $1000 on this game) i will not be buying any more gem packages until we receive the same sales (x3 bonus) as the brits and germans. And the fact that it was given to them during the United States Independence Day is a slap in the face... highly dissapointed in UBI and even BB for not standing up for us and allowing UBI to get away with this.

i want 3x gems...

I have spent over $1,000.00 on this game, and would buy gems regularlly, but after seeing screen shots from the German server with thier 3X gem sale, this server has lost my support. When you say you are going to be fair, and honest, live up to your word. because on an online game that is really all you have to set you apart from the liars and scammers. Seems BB and UBI are the biggest and best in that department. Screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me......I wont let it happen again.....just sayin.

No more gems purchases from me either until we receive fair treatment (IE 3x gems)

I have some money invested on here. I haven't bought gems at all so far in 2013. the reason is there hasn't been
any good sales lately. If you want more of my $$$ then make deals like other servers etc

all very good points. i agree with everything here 100%, ive paid in my fair share without a doubt and will not purchase anymore till i get a good explanation from bb as to why this would happen in two different servers during a server to server competition. just simply giving us the 3x gem sale will not get be back buying gems from you, rubys from you, hero tokens from you, or any other online currency ubisoft and bb implement in any other game. i am a partner in a buisness and if we charge one client a different going rate then others we will lose their service, as well as anyone they are affiliated with and the ones they know as well. it is a domino effect and needs a explanation as to why these actions were taken. Now that Gaming has evolved to online strictly, and you have a world wide customer base, you should think about keeping everything equal as we are a generation that loves to comb the web and spread the word of what we find.

maybe if a few hundred people actually complained instead of just the few of us that do.. we might actually get somewhere. but i don't see that happening when a majority of the people who feel wronged keep their mouths shut and seem to be to scared to share an opinion on this publicly.

3x gem sale -we hope that BB will realise the mistake they made when giving it to the british servers after their complaints and not giving the same to the US servers and correct the error soon

Not to mention fourth of July is an *American* holiday....

Anyway I'm holding out for equal treatment. Although I don't care if we all get 50%s or 300%s as long as everyone gets the same treatment. The only caveat is is their is a restriction on a country for a legal reason, that country could have lower gem sales due to said restriction, if it is clearly stated why they are getting a lower gem sale on the gem page.

After all fair is fair.

All well said and very fine points. I am not a big gem spender or plan to be but having a huge sale on a couple servers in the midst of a competition is clearly unfair.There is a reason they don't allow steroids in sports, aside from the health risks, and that is it provides an unfair advantage to those that use it. How many people would watch a Superbowl if the NFL decided to provide one team supplements or steroids that gave them a clear advantage. That is, in essence, what you have done. You sent a clear message to all of us here that the competition was a farce and while the outcome wasn't decided it certainly was skewed.

By the way I think this game is great. I think the other folks in this thread probably feel the same way. If not they wouldn't care and have most likely just moved on instead of voicing their concern.

Equal treatment to what our European brothers and sisters received !!!! It was OUR holiday after all. How about you hook us up with a 3x sale on German Unity day Oct. 3rd..... Seems fair.

A 3x Gem sale would be nice, Never bought any gems. Probably never will. But seeing a 3x gem sale would be nice

As a gem buyer myself i would have loved a 3 x gem sale and even now if they offer it i wont buy any more gems from them ever again. It is the simple point they did it on two servers and not every server (on the 4th of july) i have lost all respect for them. It is a lil to late as far as i am concerned i will just continue to play the game and help when however can but BB and UBI have lost a good customer in myself. I just want a sincere apology some of the questions listed in this answered.

A grave and serious offense to all servers not receiving equal treatment and during a 20th Celebratory competition time. If there are any altering advantages to ANY other server, it is obviously uncouth, disappointing and aggravating. What incentive to participate against unfair advantages. Why feel any sense of dedication, to a game, so obviously enjoyed, when treated so? Why would there be a competition if the results are skewed due to tampering, or when you create the results you desire. Even if amends were made now, the damage is done in the competition, due to timing.
The daily play value of 3 times the purchasing power. All want it.
That differing options were even offered, at any time, is a grievous hit to everyone who trusts in a game that is so much more, and an outlet for a great many people, in even more ways.

The Event is gunk unless we have fair and equal gems on all sides.

And here i thought it was sad way back when we learned of the repeated 100% sales the germans used to get when the best we had EVER gotten up to that point was a 50% happy hour. Not even a whole day sale, so sucks to be you if you had missed it. Finally under pressure they gave us a 100% sale, but again for only a happy hour.

Perhaps this disrespectful slap in the face will be corrected soon and BB realize they should treat all servers fairly.

Does BB price match? I would like to be have the equitable amount of gems that the other servers received for the purchase I made on July 4th. I am greatly disappointed to find that my money doesn't go as far as that of other countries.

BB'S silence on this thread speaks volumes. They know they are wrong but want it to blow over, without committing to any fairness in the future, or commenting on the obvious unfairness. Blue Byte it won't work for me, no gem buys until you do better.

i wanted to spend some money on this game but....
when i asked support team how can i do it from croatia (my suggestion was to give my password to american friend to pay for me but was declined although it was supposed to be One Time Only) they told me to buy game card so i was supposed to travel through 2 countries and spend twice as much gasoline as largest gem package cost is....unreal

and to touch this 2x and 3x bonus gems - it's like law in croatia - some are just more privileged than others

as long as they don't offer me easy and fair way to spend my money i ain't doin' it

I am not a spender of gems so I know that my opinion is not going to carry nearly as much weight as the players that do purchase them, but I do have an opinion nonetheless. Bluebyte does not need to be fair. They can offer what they want to who they want. With that said, if the actions that have been represented are truthful in re: to the sales given to some of the European severs vs. the American servers (or is it some servers in a few certain geographical areas vs. everywhere else?), then BlueByte is risking alienating part of their client base. Perhaps the "powers that be" have analyzed this and do not feel that an equal sale is deserved because the ones that received it spend more on a whole than the rest of the servers (this is pure speculation). I do suggest that they reevaluate their decision regardless of the reason(s). Clearly players who have spent money on the game feel that they are not getting back anywhere near to what they have invested into it.

To the gem players: Stand your ground. If you state you refuse to buy gems until said sale goes into effect, don't spend a penny until it happens. Not to get corny, but a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

It is pretty sad that someone at BB might think that it would not get over here that this has happened. What do you think that we will just keep buying and are we the money pit without the sales or something?

My kitchen is closed until this gets resolved and if it doesn't get fixed I can find another game for sure.

I have posted this elsewhere, but I will say it again: a 3x sale not offered to everyone during a competition does not make for a fair competition. I do not have a lot of entertainment dollars to spend, but I have spent some of them on gems in the past.

I just can't see doing it again unless I see some evidence of apology from BB, or at least some acknowledgement of how upset people are. They've had time. They know people are hurt -- which they wouldn't be if this game wasn't a passion for some people. And for everyone posting, believe me, there are more who are lurking, waiting to see what BB says or does. Some of them will drift away, disgusted.

Between the horribly unfair "competition" and the 3x gem sale not given to everyone, I have a pretty bad taste in my mouth, myself. I love the game too much to leave, but not enough to spend money on it with this treatment.

A Sever to server competition where you pad the rules so that the home team wins? Not cool.

The german economy is way different than ours here in the usa. Their trade is much like that on the test server and most could not afford to make balloons. So my guess is that they did that in order to level the playing field.

yep, agree with most previous post's. BB not geting any more of my money and much less of my time!!

I to have spent money on the game. I think all things should be fair. It will be until a good deal comes a long befor wife and I spend anymore money for a while.

This totally ruins the whole contest thing. we are going to give them more gems so they can win this thing to give them bigger prizes. i know not everyone buys gems over there but come on, this just is not fair. Will no be buying any gems until a 3x sale. Maybe not even then!

I to will not be spending my gaming cash, (of which I have spent hundreds here at TSO), until I see a fair solution to this huge mistake. As guild leader, I will also recommend that nobody in the guild buys until then also. The domino effect has begun...time is running out.
