As for me spreading my opinion everywhere, you are correct, and im working on that.
However, I have played with cannons, but just on the Testing server, where you are sent to lvl 50 for testing.
And ill correct you on Anno Online, Anno has its own developer team, TSO has its own. there is no split when it comes to developer teams.
Also, while yes many BB's have gone To Anno, and other games, Blue Byte has brought in other BB's to fill their place.
So Anno already has PvP from the start? sounds like they took ideas from here to that game. Makes me think thats where alot of you that want it may end up. I might check it out myself

Anno Online is a PvP Free game. I highly recommend to players who do not want pvp.
I'm fairly new to Settlers, but have played games of this genre that have PvP. LoU and Evony mainly. In those games you could lose all, relatively fast. That sucked.
It's already been stated multiple times that your home island will be safe from PvP. If you don't want to participate in PvP then don't. It really appears that simple to me.
However some people not in favor of pvp will be the first ones to leave their home island, land on a pvp island and just expect to be left alone. When they are not they will run to the forums and claim pvp has ruined yet another game.
That said, my question is, has someone kept track of dev postings on PvP?
Finally for BB if you all are serious about implementing some form of pvp, could we the players get a dedicated pvp forum for discussing it and keeping track of progress?

Not to start another argument, there are 2 buildings in that dev diary. That means progress, which takes money.
And i am sure you know, if you spend money in a game (or anything for that matter) you tend to use/play to get your full value out.
