(Apologies to the players who don't run adventures and actually use treasure searches)
This skill tree is pretty-much crap for most of us. Treasure searches are weak and lame compared to adventure loot. Retail prices on adventures are OBSCENE so we are stuck grinding away with our explorers for them. The fact that half the adventures are poorly balanced is the other half of the problem.
But, this tree is way to heavily treasure-oriented to be useful for anybody -- and nobody wants more titanium or saltpeter. Your production chains aren't balanced and those resources are weak and lame.
There's only a handful of useful skills, and we'll be forced into sacrificing books on crappy skills in order to get the ones we want. It's very discouraging.
Looking Good!
cant wait to get a specialized adventure explorer
My plan is to untrain the Geo's and get his books back. In my case I dont need the Geo's skills. Found fast coppermines and moved endless mines to it. Thats the main skill I wanted. Others with different needs may find other skills handy to keep.
Anyone know what this would could be "Adventure bonus quest." also treasure version.
I'm happy they are finally coming out with another skill tree (even if is too heavily balanced to treasure hunts) but not happy with the lack of dates. Its already been almost 2 months since the last release and now it has to go to test first? How much longer are we going to have to wait? The time frame for us Lv 50 players is vastly different than others. Sure its not a big deal it takes a while to build up books to build up specialist as you level up too. But we've already done our leveling and so now we are simply sitting here idle waiting with nothing to do just to be able to build up books for specialist. And the general tree is prob the most beneficial to everyone is withheld til last.
Beyond this, even the waiting with fairy tale will be painful. Waiting to do advs to build up massive stores of beans to slowly get each thing we need. Then once have castle have to wait to upgrade, then once again wait til we store up massive piles of beans to be turned into stalks. I'm so tired of sitting idle waiting for something to do. There is no point in new content if it takes a year to see benefits from.
Lower levels have other stuff to do while they work on new content. Lv 50s can only wait.
Very good so far BB.
It might be nice if you could try making the tavern specialists trainable up to gem specialist status.
Yeah i understand that. But I've been frustrated with game lately and what I've been looking forward to from the science system is the general trees. And now it seems there is a very possible 4 month or better wait. And there is still the "home island tree" that i hadn't realized was still in works. I just don't see why they can't do the general and explorer at the same time and have home island be last. Or really even the explorer and home island together. Something to speed up the process. This dragging it out isn't helping matters. They should know us gamers tend not to be a patient bunch.
I think i know how the Devs like to launch the updates, (correct me if i am wrong)
1. They build the update
2. They test the update
3. They launch the update
4. They Start the next update
5. While building and testing the next update, the previous update is tested on the real servers. Many bugs are kept hidden until the real launch. (not the testing server fault, just happens)
6. The #1 update is bug improved, in time for #2 update to be launched.
Repeat
There isn't a person in the game that wants saltpeter.
