ummm...how do you get the fairy tale adventure?
Be basically level 50.

50 ? ....50? ....sheesh
42 to do the adv....but I highly advise avoiding them until 48+cannons. Also - most 48 (or at least recent 48-50) are still likely to struggle with them due to not having a built up enough island (lvl 5 barracks and other buildings) and pop (10k or so). Then there is the fact you need to subsidize 300 hours (less with drill plans) worth of troop losses to get the major general. (not selling beans equals most of your daily production going towards supporting the advs).
Run the Fairytale adventures.
You can upgrade your explorers for rarity search and then in a year or twelve, you can collect enough for something.

explorers will bring back VLTs and running those will give you a chance of one of the follow up FTs. or you can buy them in TO and if you're a lvl 50 the merchant sells them for star coins
