I think a gem sale is in order here. It would be a good way to show your US player base that they matter, too.

Also waiting on a gem sale. I've got $100 burning a hole in my pocket but will not spend it until there is a sale weekend. There should be a schedule of what deals are coming so people can save up and be ready.
as more peaple are hitting 50 and sever is getting older and hopefully players are getting wiser we will get some good sells, players need to ignore the new stuff and wait for sells
It's kind of weird (unfair?) that the .com server is getting 100% gem sale every weekend. And just today they're getting another 100% gem sale.
100% gem sale on ALL gems.
Here on the .net we've had only maybe one gem weekend in the past month. And the 100% gem sale is ONLY on the last tier gem. You have to spend $100 to get the 100%.
If they're doing a 100% gem sale every weekend, that's a sign that they're moneygrabbing shortly before they abandon the game. Of course they won't shut it down, but they're likely working on something else.

Don't hold your breath...i play on the UK server also and the collectables are much easier to find and they offer more of the banners and cauldrons there also.

Well just read in another thread that US sever does not sell as many gems as the german server does, well i guess we can chaulk that up to we are not stupid, darn sure not going to buy at 20-100% when other servers are getting 100-300% give us the same deals and I'll start buying
It would be great if they put upcoming sales up on the Calendar. As it is, I have bought once at 100% sale but didn't feel like that was much of a deal. 50$ for 20k gems that I can burn on one item? c'mon I can run down to game stop and get the best new game on the market for 50$
Let me hop on the 300% bandwagon. I used to buy gems every few months, not in huge quantities by any stretch, but regularly. Ever since the 300% sale during the football event I haven't bought any. I won't buy any until the US servers get at least one sale that's 300% either. Not quite fair that the servers aren't all treated equally.

I am in a similar position as most of you, based upon the complaints/comments. I am German, so I do play on the 'other' server as well. I do not like the discrimination either. However, I have 2 comments/observations on the subject:
- BB does not even take the time to address our concerns on the matter. So... take that for whatever you think. Are they listening? If so, do they care about our comments? This is not the only subject in which BB fails to address customer issues.
- This (BB) is a business and as such a business model prevails. Since BB fails to offer the 2x (100%) or 3x sales often to the US servers, it means that they are making enough sales from other players on the server to warrant not making such sales. A business normally introduces sales to increase revenue and/or interest in a product/service. Since the sales do not come, they must be generating enough cash from existing rates. Talk to your fellow players/guildies...
That said, BB is not likely responding to your (our) comments as any response will not be positive to the issue and might lead to more customer ire than just not responding.
I am only writing this now as I am in a position to spend some $ on games atm, and do not want to spend them on gems that are normal prices... So, it is likely that by the time a decent sale comes along, I will have spent the $ on another online game (or video game).

they have had a good bit of gem sales in the past couple months
I have noticed one or two Happy Hour Sales. My only problem is that they are not scheduled and last only 24h. If I have money now, that does not help me. I do have a few things I would like to 'coin' like keeping some premium time available and a couple of gem-only things, but why would I pay for gems today at full price when, eventually, there will be a sale? Today, you will find the $100 package is supposedly a deal buying you 24k instead of the 'normal' 10k!!! So, basically, they have multiple 'normal' prices... Not cool. BB should be honest with us, seems 24k is normal, don't try to befuddle us by throwing in the other normal quantity of 10k, which never exists. This is typical in grocery stores as well as the malls...
think its better random so players can't stock up but i also agree some notice would be nice.
I think that false advertising is against the law.
