Oh after a long day in the fields.
Or working hard in my mine
I like to settle for the evening with a cold glass of wine.
But on this little island there's nothing but brew
So here I sit drinking brew just like you....drinking brew just like you.
I went to the Tavern to look for some wine.
And after much asking I had to decline.
Because not only was there no wine to be found.
Just loads of unemployed generals and scouts do abound.
So here I sit drinking brew just like you....drinking brew just like you.
The mayor's no help he hangs out on the farm.
And all of his people pick and store grain in the barn.
I'm still just looking for a touch of sweet wine.
There's none to be found on this island of mine.
So here I sit drinking brew just like you....drinking brew just like you.
When my friends coma a calling and need a gift to bring.
I tell them I'm grape less.
And tried of Brew
So bring me a bottle of wine or two.
So here I sit drinking brew just like you....drinking brew just like you.
-
show me the way to go home, i'm tired and i want to go to bed, i've had me a drink about an hour ago and its gone straight to my head.. i'm tired of working in the fields and building all day. so brew me some more to forget this day. and show me the way to go home

The bandits are gone, and thee fields be tended, but alas I have none to be my intended.
The miners work hard so I can travel afar, the bread keeps baking and at least the solders aren't shaking.
Hay now Hay now friends gather round, the brew is a brewing and the fights are all above ground.
There are guilds new and old, and with so many people trades rarely grow cold.
Off to visit other islands you see, simply cause adventuring is for me.
So here is the brew and here is the bread, just don't let your level go to your head.
So pass the word around Settlers is the best came around.
-
Sitting in the tavern all alone...
Watching everybody going home.
They've stopped pouring brew.
What am I gonna do.
Just sitting in the tavern all alone...
Wild Mary's banging on the door...
I don't think I'll come here anymore.
I thought we drove her out.
But now she screams and shouts.
Oh, Wild Mary's banging on the door...
Chuck just came stumbling down the stairs...
He looks a little worried and scared.
His pants are by his knees.
He's yelling "Mary PLEASE".
Oh, Chuck just came stumbling down the stairs...
Down crashed the tavern door just then...
Wild Mary stood there with some men.
She pointed her sword at Chuck.
Who then cried "Oh _ _ _ _ "
And that's why I sit here on my owwnnn............

Some Day O, Some day Oh HO, some day coming and this Island be home.
I look from the mountain top and what do I see,
A lush lovely land looking at me.
I see a place for timber, a quarry for the stone,
Venison and bear do freely roam.
Some day O, Some day Oh ho, Some day coming and dis island be home.
Tis a place by the brook for da brew,
Got a home place for me and you.
All my friends be stopping by for a feast,
Having roast turkey, and roasted Hairy beast.
Some day O, Some Day Oh Ho, Some day coming and dis Island be home.
Bowing our heads and saying grace.
For this island has become our sane place.
Some day O, Some Day Oh Ho, some day has come and this island is home.

and giggling as we tarry.
oh yoldy doldily doooo
yee yes i see thee as
i raise my pint to honor
those who left us before
the tavern has closed
oh yoldy doldily doooo

Me and my Settlers we live all alone
In a little Noble we call our own;
They all love gin and I love rum,
And don't we have a lot of fun
Little brown jug, don't I love thee!
It all comes from the Friary
When I go toiling on the farm
I take the little jug under my arm;
Place it under a Pinewood tree,
Little brown jug, 'tis you and me.
-
“The Day the Friary Opened” (all lines have 8 syllables)
Life was peaceful – all knew their place
Till they opened the Friary
That’s the day we learned what happens
When they give away brew for free
The fishermen got the first batch
They hit the skids before noon’s bell
They stacked their fish at Copper Mines
with miners too reeling to tell
The cutters all got together
You should have seen the smoke that day
Five hundred logs of fresh hardwood
the Coking Plant just burned away
The foresters were gone by three
They tried to work despite the haze
So there went all the new Wheatfields
Turned to trees in their giddy craze
The Papermills went dry early
Buckets were stumbled near their spot
For rather than walk on past him
the Bookbinder, a swamp he got
The marble stopped just past midday
Singing’s all we heard from the mines
And no one still sober dared to
go near the Powderhut’s confines
Me – I rode it out with my brew
here at this Tavern with my mates
We ran a Storehouse together
But that day its shambles could wait
So drink to the day we survived
When our world nearly crashed down
The day we forgot what we did
since the Friary came to town
(Repeated boisterously)
So drink to the day we survived
When our world nearly crashed down
The day we forgot what we did
since the Friary came to town

While reading the song about wine
I was wondering how to write mine
Then I saw all those about beer
Towards that topic, I will try not to steer
So I asked around the land
For some settlers to lend a hand
But most of them were mining
And the kids in Global were whining
I then filtered through trade
To see what deals were being made
But no help was found there
Yet some of the prices were fair
Now I'll leave you all with this
And may it fill your mind with bliss
Live each day like it's your last
And just forget about the past

Drink a toast to the Mayor and our fellow settlers,
the sun is setting over the fields and glades.
It is time for setting in the tavern with friends,
with brew in hand and bread and sausage too,
Bring more brew and join us in a toast
at the end of the working day.
Brew...., brew...., brew...., more brew....bring us more brew.
Brew...., brew...., brew...., more brew....bring us more brew.
-
OHHHHHH have ya ever seen a brew better than me brew. I loves me brew, hic, love me Brew hic, worth all the work to make the brew.

Only one thing for me when I'm feeling blue
Is to sit in the tavern and talk everything through
Cuz there isn't anything better to do
Than while away hours just supping on brew
Oh the bar is so friendly
We all share one aim
To get blurred and forgetful
and drink more of the same
Recruits and their generals come swaggering in
Friars and Fishermen add to the din
The bar wenches dream of the days they drank gin
Adding up coins that they keep in a tin
Oh the bar is so friendly
We all share one aim
To get blurred and forgetful
and drink more of the same

"Bring the Bawdy Boys Home"
Nathan's banner raised up high
Calling troops to gather 'round
Lightning Sigil 'cross the sky,
Forces marching 'cross the ground.
Battles fought and battles won,
Troops across the fields do roam,
Fight from rise to fall of sun,
Then bring the bawdy boys home.
Clear the foes who block our way!
Fight the enemy to keep them at bay!
Nathan's forces shall win the day,
Then all come home to drink our pay!

Lifeblood-A Settlers Drinking Song
Drink, for the wind blows cold and
Drink for The Wolf runs free.
Drink to the ships with sails like wings and
Drink to the storm-tossed seas.
Drink to the lasting nights
and Sun which warms our fields.
Drink to the brew that warms our hearts
as swords clang on our shields.
Drink to the Gold that fills storehouse
for and the gems that twinkle so sweet
Drink to the Mayor and soldier alike
and let the buffs be everyone's treat.
Drink to the truth of steel
and blood that falls like rain.
Drink to death of our enemies
and to our kinsmen, slain.
Drink to the Glory-field
where a man embraces death, and
thank the gods that we live at all
with our joyous dying breath!
Drink for the wind blows cold and
Drink for the Wolf runs free
Drink to the ships with the sails like wings
for Settler's sons are we!

Now a wooden old cup is the best receptacle for barbecues, carriages, and festivals. And you, sir, have not seen all the arrivals if you prefer sitting at home drinking brew out of a glass.
A wooden old cup is cheap and easily craft-able and in fourteen years they'll still be filled with brew. And unlike the mines, they're not drained dry. The cranky miner can kiss my brew!
Old wooden cup, I fill you up! Let's have a party, let's get some brew!
A drunken gen comes in and fills his old cup up, brew to the top and says:
Old wooden cup, I fill you up! Let's have a party! Proceed to the fight!
Now I really love how you're easy to stack. I really hate how you're easy to sap 'cause that mixes with my brew and that is quite disgusting.
Oh wooden cup, you're more than just pinewood. You're more than fantastic and cross my heart I'm not one bit sarcastic when I say:
Old wooden cup, you're not just an old crafted piece of wood. No, no. You bring my best friend to see me. Thank you for bringing me my brew."

There once was a hero named Thing1, baker of buns, who went off to help the tailor find his three sons.
And after the war, he showed off his blade as he boasted of his battles, and the loot that he made!
But then he went quiet, the baker of buns, for just in the corner, a noise ended the fun…
Oh, you boast and you brag, yet there's no gold in your bag. now, pay for your brew, or die where you stand!
then came the slashing and bashing of blades, as the unknown man charged full of rage!
at-last, the angry young man was hateful no more… when his bloody head fell to the floor.

Drink, Fight, Bake
For the glory, the loot and the ever increasing demands
Drink, Fight, Bake
To increase the stores needed for waves on far shores.
Drink to sooth the recruits on the ground
Fight for the gold, the glory, the crown
Bake more bread to keep bellies a-full
Full and content, ready to duel.
Chop, mill, mine
and flourish with plenty to trade and share all around
Chop, mill, mine
and grow your island to it's maximum size
Plant to keep the greenery bright,
Mill the wood to build nobles with might
Mine the ores to keep weapons abound
keep plenty around, and feet to the ground
Drink, Fight, Bake
For Settlers to join you on your far distant shore
Drink, Fight, Bake
to increase your domain, your gold and your lore
Drink to sooth the recruits on the ground
Fight for the gold, the glory, the crown
Bake more bread to keep bellies a-full
Full and content, ready to duel.
Let's Drink

Oh raise your glass.
and drink drink drink
Tomorrow is...uncertainty.
We live our lives as simple folk
Tending fields and mining ore.
We live our live as simple folk
cutting trees and making bows.
When bandits come
we take up arms
to adventures we sometimes march.
So raise your glass
and drink drink drink
might be the last glass
you ever drink.

All hail the settler miner
He digs out ore all day
Till the mine runs out
And then he pouts
And drinks his woes away
All hail the settler farmer
Cause farming is a chore
It’s lets grow wheat
Then rinse repeat
And wheat is such a bore
All hail the settler recruit
With bronze sword he does slay
We pump them out
And without a doubt
He’s a red shirt all the way
All hail out mighty settlers
Be they troops or workers proud
We raise a cheer
With brew not beer
And sing our song out loud.
-
Chorus:
We drink, we drink!
We say what we think!
But not to be forward or crude,
It's hard on a man when there's no other than
Our wrinkly old crusty, Dame Jude!
Verse1:
Oh, where re the women, the ladies, the girls?
where are the laces, the lips and the curls?
Gone away fast as a wish and a wink
and so, my good fellow, we drink!
Chorus:
We drink, we drink!
We say what we think!
But not to be forward or crude,
It's hard on a man when there's no other than
Our wrinkly old crusty, Dame Jude!
Verse 2
Oh, where are the nurses, the children, the wives,
Where is the fun and the joy for our lives?
We walk the wide kingdom, and what do you think?
No women! And so boys, we drink!
Chorus:
We drink, we drink!
We say what we think!
But not to be forward or crude,
It's hard on a man when there's no other than
Our wrinkly old crusty, Dame Jude!
-
Heave ho, heave ho!
With a flash and a snick
we worked through our fields
all the time dreaming
of all our rich yields.
Heave ho, heave ho!
With a spark and a clang
we worked all the mines
gathered the ore
for thee and thine’s.
Heave ho, heave ho!
With a thud and a crack
we cut down the trees
hoping for riches,
if fate it please.
Heave ho, heave ho!
With a splish and a splash
we threw out the line
hoping on fishes
we all could dine.
Heave ho, heave ho!
With a flash and a bang
the bandits they came,
looting and burning
but leaving no name.
Heave ho, heave ho!
With a sigh and a song
we tell what we knew,
for now we have nothing,
nothing but brew.
Heave ho! Heave ho!

When all there was to drink was cups of wine. Along came a monk who invented a astonishing drink he made it out of wheat. He must of have been a foreseeable man and to his praise we shall sing. Look what he has done for us he's filled us with pleasure! Bless the man who invented beer. The tavern sells, its beer to all the people and to his praise we shall always sing.

I've been travelin' this land, with a map and a pick in my hand
Look around with me my friend, what an earth for us to tend!
Isle rich from soil to mountain, soon we build a grand ol' fountain!
Day in day out, the fishes abound, the sky without a cloud!
Explore and find treasure, beyond what bags can measure!
Carving the stone, leaving just bones, we build our home tonight!
We build our home tonight, we build our home tonight
What lies ahead, while not in bed, is just within our sight!
Now I got myself a brew and an iron weapon too!
There is much to venture and do, with an ale in hand or two!
As we travel these vast seas and rummage with the fleas
Oh, what spoils our rivalry leaves!
Now we are all broken and bruised, what a way for us to loose
The general's dead and gone is his head, what a way for us to loose
What a way for us to loose, what a way for us to loose!
If you'd only walk a mile, within my buddies' shoes.
We are on our way back home, perhaps we'll write a tome
'bout the distant lands we roam and ever abundant loam
At least we got some spoils, it makes worthwhile our toils
Train for the next turmoil, 'till the enemy recoils!
Now in battle once again, with a brew and a friendly hand
We will conquer this very land, it is time for us to defend!
A victory is near, my friend please have no fear!
Before long we will be in pub, with a brew and a merry cheer!
