Okay- I got a bad guild quest coming up in my waiting quest.
It's asking me to pay 100 coins. And use some deer meat refills.
And the reward is 11guild coins. ?? really?? And being in a small guild, the guild completion quest is very low for me as well.
Overall the return on this is just stupid. Developers really need to revisit these quests. The crappy thing is I don't have an "X" next to that quest to cancel it out so I don't accidently complete it.

only your guild leader can cancel guild quests, in IW i always cancel that one, and a few more :)
There are too many bad stories about guild quest to recount, everyone seems to have one. Most folks I talk to seem to hold GQ in a certain disdain along with death,taxes and similarly horrid occurrences. (Yes that was a joke) Seems to be a general consensus that, all too often, guild quest are onerous. I saw another thread of LvL 50's complaining they need addition spot to complete certain guild quest. I agree in a sense. Their burden of epics and GQ adventures is no more/less difficult than the lower level player who just started a VTV and committed their time/troops/adventure space then ::boom:: yet again another blasted IOTP pops up as guild quest. There are no special snowflakes, GQ have a negative impact on everyone at some point.
Does BB need to reconsider overall effort vs. reward? Certainly. Does BB need to look at randomness and the "trend" to get same adventure quest 2-3 days in a row weekly? Sure. But all the power to handle these situations already exist. This was already inadvertently touched on by Evil_J. Cancel and move on. Use common sense in regards to GQ and suddenly they are less of an issue. ;)
Also remember it is not mandatory content....... If a GQ or anything else in the game is stressing you, don't do it. Its a game folks. It is YOUR leisure time.
They need to have an "opt-out" of guild quest for the individual member. You opt-out. You get no reward. You don't get the group reward either.
Otherwise, for the rest of the guild who did their quest will be stuck on missing 1 or 2 quest to complete.
This is just a very stupid poorly thought out design system for group reward.
Maybe the group reward decreases if somebody opts out.
Reward versus effort definitely needs to be revisited.
And what bothers me the most is that the Halloween event seems like its going to probably use a similar system as the guild quest.
We're probably going to be held hostage of the server quest with no reward because the server thinks there are a ton of active players and will require 80% of the active players to participate in the server quest before it gives out the final reward.
There should definitely be an option to cancel individual guild quests AND then not get the group reward. The instances and the getting of the SAME adventure 3 days in a row is ridiculous, too. This definitely needs to be revisited as many of you said it. I am getting Black Knights 2 days in a row when I'd plan to run a tailor. I've started to track these adventures and their instances. This issue has been talked about here for a very long time. Nothing has been done about it so far.Quote:
