How often do the collectable regenerate? How often do the quanities of each item regenate on my island?
I believe its once a day. the quest collect all will change as well.
I believe that if you don't complete the quest. The items despawn and respawn new ones and you get a new quest replacing it.
At least that is what I had noticed on the test server.
Does anyone know if the adventures should always contain collectibles? I started an adventure that did not have any, is that a bug, or on purpose?
I started 2 to see, 1 SE and 1 traitors, no collectibles on either.
I just can't find but one .
Not enjoying this new element of the game. I've spent the last hour combing my island for ONE collectible. I can't help but think that it's behind something like a DC & I'm unable to see/click it because of its location. I'd much rather be doing something else right now. :-/

Like almost anything!
I've been zooming in a lot to find collectables - and the artwork is amazing. I can't always find them all. They do hide in clever places. I've found scarecrows in the border marker lines and in one case in between residence buildings. They can be in sectors you haven't claimed yet and sometimes they are on the edges of the island where you can't build anything. I like the buffs you can build with them. It might be nice if they glowed a little to make them slightly easier to find. Too much searching is straining my eyes and I have to step away from the computer for a bit to avoid getting a headache.
I like the glowing idea.
OR BB could make it so that friends/guild members can visit your island and the collectable could glow for them so they can help you find the hard ones.
Not worth the effort of finding the needles in the haystack IMO. On the verge of maddening. I have had a few others help me search my island - and vice versa. What a fruitless adventure. Bottom line? NOT FUN!
rofl, one time we had a guild contest, find little statues and lanterns, for a similar "hidden object" game.... the results were overwhelming, a revolt!!!! nobody liked it and i got hate mail for a week ;) we've never done it again
ugh i hear rumors bb plans to hide pumpkins also ???? idk what goes on in test server, but when everybody's lvl 50, the results aren't gonna reflect the "real worlds".....
I used to run The Wimpyville Christmas Tree Hunt for my guild. Never got hate mail but so few were playing that I stopped hiding the tree.
I've been helping my guildmates (T-L) find their collectibles. To me, it's like a treasure hunt, so I actually enjoy it. What would be REALLY neat would be if BB would turn that feature into a sort of "trick-or-treat" -- place items on our friends islands that we can see and collect (but don't interfere with their island), and every time we collect one, one gets placed on our island for our friends to find. That would promote the "visit" feature and could be a lot of fun.
Why they need to make them so **** small! It's hard to find them when your island is full :( NOT FUN!
I like the glow idea or even a little sparkle to help them stand out just a little more because I've been combing my island for almost 3H and that last collectible we (Guildies that came to my island to help) can't find it :(
annoying....i give people half of what they find for finding my stuff for me
I really don't get the anger over this. It's not like you have to collect everything ... or even anything save for maybe the required amounts for the quest chain. If you can't find stuff after a little bit of time, just don't worry about it. It'll just reset.
Also ... the first person that friends me will get a free ... FREE! ... 200 deposit on a random wheat field whenever I get online next. Maybe eventually you'll get other buffs too.
Our guild is really pulling together to help each other find the collectables. Could we get it so the person that is helping to find them can click them too?
Yep, no need to get mad...just get the low hanging fruit (usually 75% of all collectibles)in 3 minutes per respawn and enjoy your free Overtime every 48 hours or so
