Excessive workyard to deposit time

I have two silos about the same distance from a farm and a storehouse.
One has times in the details tab of 18 sec, 12 sec, 12 min (production), 18 sec, 12 sec.
The other has ties of 14sec, 1 min 14 sec, 12 min, 1 min 14 sec, 14 sec.

I can find these in different buildings by looking at the economy overview. The same buildings with similar distance to the storehouse will occasionally have much longer times than others. I check the path on these slow buildings and they aren't doing anything odd. There are about the same number of steps being shown. So it's not like they are going to some distance work yard that needs the resource more than the close one. That happens sometimes but that's not what I'm asking about. :confused:
I would think it was something about having to go through a close set of buildings, i do have them packed in tight most places, but then they building clears itself up and starts working fast again. And with no change in the paths being taken.

I've attached images showing this situation. This happens all over the island with many if not all different buildings.
