No golem since I killed the first one - and it's time for the THIRD one now. I don't know what gives, but I never even got an answer to my ticket. I'm disgusted and starting to get angry.
It would appear that BB is clearly overwhelmed by the problem with this quest.
They should take it down and try again.
JEEZ... guild mate just got his third one, while I'm still waiting for my second..... This is so unfair.
Same story here, no Golem since I killed the first one, and my guild mates received their 3rd one today...
This has happened on the european servers too, and the response there has been "er, yes ... we know .... we're working on it ... honest" ... and then silence.
Same thing for me... no new Golems to beat after the first one... :(
I get a very uncomfortable feelng about the way things are going.
Same story for myself and my wife. Should have already defeated my 3rd Golem. I made 75k water and 50k wheat worth of Golem killing ammunition and its just sitting in the star menu waiting for something to do...........
Just another example of epic fail......so sad......thought this was teh purpose of test servers. Why can they not just go in and reset everyone's quest? Or remove it and just send everyone in game x numbers of pumpkins with an apology? Sorry, due to a technical glitch this game mechanic broke. We will be looking into it, but in an attempt to be fair. Everyone on the server will be gifted 5 golems worth of pumpkins. Thank you!"
But remember everyone. Settlers is still a "Beta" game. SO lets all just sit back and shut up cause we support a beta game. And we all know Beta games have glitches.
Hate to tell you this but. It is not a beta game for our servers. Its been out of beta for a while. Same goes for the UK servers. They reccently ended their beta a few months ago. The whole its beta excuse does not apply. Especially when they had this problem on the test server and fails to fix it and retest it. I was on the test server. It was tested only briefly. And the event ended too soon. He server quest never reached 100 either.
This is an epic fail on bb. Beta excuse does not apply.
It's been over 72 hours of waiting for the new Golem to appear. Tick tock tick tock tick tock...
I hope someone from BB finds out where they put the golems.
Killed 2 golems. 48hrs later my guest is up to kill 3rd.. yet golem is not there. It seems quite few people have the same problem on the 3rd. Either fix the golems or refund us pumpkins. BB should spend more effort on making sure their game works instead of puffing new vids how cool they are and how even cooler the game is.

BB must be on holiday. This nasty golem glitch and the bookbinder glitch have been going on a few days each now and we have received no official response from BB...
What's even sad is that we have no official comment or statement from BB about this on the .net forum.
Not even on this thread. The 3rd golem quest should have been given to us by now. Probably the 4th by the end of tomorrow night.
This is just really awful. They should mail out pumpkins to those who have broken quests. Or change the spawn cycle to immediately like how they had it on test server. so you can defeat them back to back.
The golem on test server had broken quests problems. Where if you killed the golem too soon, before you finish the quests associated to killing the first one (make 4 marbles, lower his health with the 4 marbles) it would bug out and never respawn. and you couldn't complete the quest chain.
On live they didn't really fix the problem of just automatically finishing the quest. They chose to 'respawn him level 1 again and forcing you to waste resources for nothing only to finish the quest. So if you killed it over and over. and not 'complete claim' the quests. you basically waste resources. and it would respawn level 1 golem over and over. This is just a silly fix.
I know this cuz I jumped the gun and killed him before I completed one of the quest part. I thought they had fixed it. Anyways I overkilled a golem. Maybe that's why it's bugged for the 2nd golem? Not sure if that's what you guys did as well.
Has anybody sent in support ticket for this problem?
I sent in support ticket for my bandit quest and they messed up and I made another ticket (since the email told me to make another ticket) and replied to the one they sent me. (I might have accidently made 2 tickets because the ticket system is form based and it bugs out like the forum.) And I got some email saying don't send in multiple tickets because we're overloaded.
So I'm avoiding sending in a ticket for this- since I'm sure a dozen people probably sent in reports. (I'm assuming)
If you guys sent in a report, what did they say?
They said this:

I got word from a BB, they are aware, and are working on a fix.
If you have this issue - send in a report ticket so that they can properly assess the scope of this issue.
If you are new to this game and are worried about not getting enough pumpkins, or whatever, you shouldn't fret too hard. These types of glitches are, unfortunately, not unheard of in this game, but BB usually compensates generously. It does take the fun out of it, but let them do their thing.

I've had 2 golems, none since and no Halloween quests. very, very disappointed. :(

I got a golem this morning, perhaps its a glitch, but the event started on the 16 right?
if so then my golems are spawning every 7 days.
same deal new quest no golem going on 4 days
A quick update: The 48 hour cooldown between a new quest/golem begin to countdown after the player has accepted the reward, not after the golem has been defeated. If it has been 48 hours since accepting a reward, and there is still no golem please let us know.
Golem is back, bugs fixed.

Another update. If you still haven't received another golem, please check out this post: here and make sure that you meet all of the requirements. If you still do not have a quest, please contact Support.
As for The_Director's earlier question about reimbursement, on Friday, we delivered 50 pumpkins to everyone's accounts. Please check out the post here. Thank you to everyone for participating in this event, despite the hiccups. :)
