Suggestion: Economy Adventure's
I think i heard the idea from a BB, but as since nothing has come from it, its time for a player to re-suggest it.
Economy Adventures.
A very simple idea, its a adventure island, where the settlers living there need your help!
Your goal is to correct their Economy, it may be drought, food, or perhaps their sword production for protection from bandits.
Simple Adv's would be one or 2 production chains to correct, with advanced and Elite Adv's working with combining multiple production chains.
You will arrive at the island with a budget, the more you save and make correct choices the first time will make the end rewards bigger.
You may have to build an entire production chain (I.e. Bread and brew) or merely small parts of it.
Rewards would be near the same as normal Adventures, Exp and resources.
"Epic Rare" Adv's could include small camps to clear out, perhaps the same bandits reappearing if certain requirements (I.e. a sword production line) are not completed.
The time to complete these adventures would be just like the adv's we have today, single player missions around 2-3 days, with the bigger adv's taking longer.
I think i made my point clear, again very simple, but fun and another way than grinding thru normal adventures.
Q/A
Here are a few questions i asked myself, if you have a question, post it, and i will answer to the best of my ability
Will we be awarded on neatness and how quickly we produce resources?
The best thing about these adventures is that it is easy to calculate rewards. Once you complete the quests, and or the time runs out, you will be judged on how many of x resource you have left, how much you produced, and how much time is on the clock. (we can clearly see that if we finish in 3 hours, we would have less resources produced than what would happen in 3 days) Neatness would not come into the equation.
Can we bring our own resources to the Adventure?
I am kinda divided on this question, since if you could, then you could finish very quickly, and the rewards for quickly finishing would be much higher.
It probably would be better that the Adv provide the necessary resources for the quest at hand.
That makes it more based on skill than mere resources, and that would let smaller, lower level players play big Adv's, and thats another good point, letting the bigger Adv's require you to bring your own resources, and letting the small ones easy to do.
