Gems from daily reward

Hey guys I know you all like to get the free gems at the end of 7 long hard grueling days, seems to take awhile right. So heres what I propose, what if instead of getting only 100 gems what if that person got gems corsponding with the level they are. Just so yall dont get confused this is how it would work up until level ten they will get 100 gems (after signing in for seven days of course, like everone else), then at level twelve 120, level thirteen 130, and so on and so forth. This way the lower players have more incentive to go up in level and the higher players will have more reason to go on to Settlers. Please post your feedback, critic and non, I want to hear what yall think.

It's a good idea except for 1 thing.

They only recently raised the reward to 100.

I know, that is why I'm seeing what everyone thinks of the idea, including BB's.

How about basing it on the number of times you successfully get 100 gems every 7 days. Have it track within each quarter, so every 90 days it resets. Ten more gems for each previous week that you logged in all seven days successfully. At the end of each 90 day period give the players that successfully got the gems every week a reward that is tied to that players level.

Bb wants to sell more gems, not give them away.

I don't know. I think giving players a perfect attendance reward of some sort may encourage more play, which could cause more gem sales in the long-term.

The best way to insure gem sales is to keep players playing the game. If players who have bought gems leave the game then gem sales will go down. If they go down too far we will have no game. New, not rehashed, content will keep us lvl 50 players around.

I don't know, but if it happens I got some Gems owed to me.

I like the idea because starting out it is so hard to build things up and save for things and the lengthy time is kinda frustrating

I am not opposed to this, I think it could be a good incentive for all players. Nice suggestion anakin2131!

That would be by design, with the expectation/hope that you'll speed things along via gem purchases. :)

It may be free to play, but it's still supposed to make money.

gem reward will stay as is for a long time. remember the days of 45 gems. sad days in the settlers kingdom

Not a bad idea. Has benefits for all sides, even BB in the long run.

Interesting. Might be worth wild to try this out as well as Dev Team in Germany agrees!

The idea has real merit except just this week even though I log in every day and have for months it again didn't give me my gems. There are glitches I guess. I don't get upset when its small potatoes. But I think I would if there were a larger number of gems at risk.

Why?

The part that is ticking me off is that I am logged into the game almost 24 x 7 yet i keep loosing the next level to the gems. Just really ticks me off...

i think one of the BBs told someone once that they are login bonuses not stay logged on ones. you might have to log off every day and log back on
