Exotic Imported resources, and 6th level workyards
It would be cool to have exotic imported goods available as adventure loot. This could tie in with the much anticipated PvP system because we will be fighting for control of non-home islands. These islands will serve as a great way to introduce new resources into the game. This also ties in perfectly with the introduction of the rarity provision house through the Xmas event, as the rarity provo house would be the perfect way to turn these goods into something useful.
Some suggested exotic resources: cacao, sugar, ivory, saffron, cinnamon, silk, pearls, chile, jade, obsidian, glass, dyes. These all work great in that many of them can be natural deposits on an island. They can also be introduced before the PvP system is complete, simply by adding to lootspots. Rarity provo house is the perfect place to convert cacao and sugar into a chocolate rabbit, or add cinnamon or chiles to kick it up a notch, or whatever else people can think of.
Exotic resources would also be perfect for upgrading existing workyards to level 6. Yes, level 6! This shouldn't be something in the ordinary course. There should be some sort of quest, or price to be paid in star coins, or some necessary item only available through a lootspot, to even allow someone the option to upgrade to level 6. Or maybe it could tie in with the planned island science system. Then it would cost a lot of ivory, gold, jade, obsidian, etc. Maybe it would even require further working of existing rare materials, for instance a workyard converting exotic wood planks to inlaid exotic wood planks, or for converting glass and dyes into stained glass. Certainly not cost effective compared to earlier workyard levels, but it would give high level players something to strive for.
