Top of explorer skill tree, adventure and treasure quests?

Can anyone explain to me how these work please? What exactly are the bonus quests received? Is it an opportunity to earn additional stuff through completing a quest similar in nature to our daily quests, or what? And then if you get an adventure as a reward with one of these, the loot from the adventure itself is increased over the normal amount? The wording is hard to understand, or maybe intentionally vague.

Sophisticated Pillager grants a 30% chance of receiving an adventure bonus quest. Completing the adventure with the bonus quest will give additional rewards.

Streetwise Negotiator grants a 30% chance of receiving a treasure bonus quest. A bonus quest rewards granite,s altpeter, or titanium ore if found with the long or very long treasure search.

They are both basically side quests. The adventure one he finds an adventure, say Nords, then the side quest is to complete Nords and you get additional loot from the side quest, not the adventure, along with regular loot from adventure of course. You can just buy a LS to complete that side quest also, you don't need to run the exact adventure that was found. The adventure one is pretty good additional loot. The treasure one is lame, says you need to find say salt peter, and the side quest reward is maybe an extra 5 salt peter.
