I was looking for the button to consolidate items in my star menu and didn't find it. Must of been overlooked or something in the last patch.
Can we get the button back that merges "like" stacks into one stack in the star menu back? Or am I going to be stuck with 1000s of little stacks in my star?

I think its rather pointless to suggest ANYTHING to BB because they almost never listen or care to implement anything we suggest that is not already planned a year or more ago in their Dev Diary.
Important things that have been asked for along time now are:
1. More than 25 units recruiting in barracks.
2. Easier transfer of items from Star Menu. (one click instead of 5 clicks to transfer stuff)
3. Consolidate/merge items in star menu.
4. Mail Archive button.
5. Fixes to the Rollover Population / military at the top of the screen being blocked by the notification menus.
6. Mail Filter button to remove buff notifications. Mass delete.
7. Quest XP conversion to Star Coins.
8. Quest fixes to things that are poorly designed like Science Skill related books spending forcing you to spec your explorers/geos a certain way.
9. Any improvements related to barracks. Any improvements related to current Provision house.
Anything that is useful to improving games qualify of life day to day operation.
Countless other things that has been suggested that will never get implemented.
Such as fixing Generals to have icons or color codes to let you know which one is vet or major or bhg etc.
Fixing Quartermaster so that he doesn't take up 3x3 island space. Suggested he be a ship since he doesn't attack on land. no need to move him around on the island or adventure land spot. Why does he need to take up 3x3 area space??
We're "barely" lucky enough for them to listen to anything we suggest on test server content.
They've only made adjustments to things they ask us to test on test server. And NOTHING more that is already on live server. Live server has too many problems that need fixing.
There really was a merge button, I swear! Give it back BB! I dunno, I would think they would like to compact the number of records in their database, hence the mail cleanup. But thats okay, it time for operation cloud the star menu.
Phase 1: Rumor about the button. I swear it exists, for real!:D
Phase 2: If you don't need to use something in star, please leave it there. (Especially for the treasure junkies doing 3-4 sets of medium searches each day. Maybe if people start getting into the 10s of thousands of individual stacks, they will cave)
Phase 3: Will be to get people to feed 1 million pine logs into stacks of 1 into the star menu. Might take weeks to accomplish, but don't test my resolve. Jitbit can automate this endeavor.
P.S. Number 5 is a limitation of the user, they cant do anything about people who have scrunched up windows.
5. could be fixed by moving the location of the population to the right side instead of left side. do we need to know our gems count at all times? I don't mind notifications covering up my gems count.
Or just simply put the "resources bar" (tools,coins,pinewood,etc) to the left and the population bar can go after, between the marble and gems.
