The game is the thing
The Buff more about to bring
Friends who teach us strings
As the Settler smiles,
Gazing upon his Castle,
The Settler settles.
Oh, yet another
Contest with random victor
No effort required
The harvest has come,
The seeds we've sown are ready,
Let the reaping start,
days are short and cold
leaves are mostly dry or gone
autumn has begun
Walk and look at leaves
toe hits curb, balance is lost
and thus, fall begins

fields dot the land, mementos
the pumpkins are gone
As summers heat ends,

as yet another season passes
Settlers labor
Against a fell, chilly wind
In the autumn fields
Maintenance shutdown
Leaves me with some time to kill
This long autumn night
Gobble gobble up
Turkey, stuffing, cranberries
At the lush Fall feast
My last year's wishes
Are these year's apologies
Wish time would fly back
Gather the harvest,
While sunlight goes retreating.
All to a feasting we share.

The leaves are browning,
And a chill is in the air.
It must be Autumn.
when the leaves fail
it all starts to snow and hail
until winter is ready to bail
Buffed in fairy dust
9 fields of glowing pumpkins
bought the Grim Reaper
warm glowing pumpkins
gracing our brimming tables
warm filling for pies
Are my settlers cold.
No, my settlers are hearty,
My settlers are strong.
Trees draped in crimson
Morning frost upon the grass
Portent of Winter
Geologists are jolly
Islands all presents/holly
Dumb mines empty gain
amidst falling leaves,
drying grass and bare branches-
snow begins to fall
wrote a fourth entry
for the fall haiku contest-
really want those gems!
amidst autumn winds,
shorter days and colder nights-
our breath warms the air
Leaves are falling down,
like my drunken cavalry.
No more thirty brew.
