Confused as to what they are and how they are used
see there are 2-3 player adventures, a person does the 2-3 player adventure by themselves then there are still 1 or 2 spots open. If i person kills atleast 1 unit on an adventure they get the loot. so the person running the adventure can invite people to make 1 kill and get loot. The adventure spots, known as lootspots are sold in trade, people price it based on what the loot is, you pay them, then they invite you, you make your kill, then you get loot when the adventure is finished.
Something KD didn't mention (as some new people are confused), There is not a big pot everyone pulls loot from. There is a list of possible loot you can get from the adventure, and each person gets the stuff off the list, it is not shared.
For example, if one possible loot is 1100 granite, each person in the adventure COULD get the 1100 granite, not 1100 split 3 ways.
Most guild members do not sell loot spots. They give them to other members.
Agreed. For some of the higher-loss adventures our members may sell them (or do a "bean tag" for the fairy tales), but typically they trade for other LS, or give them away to help people get quests done. Make sure you check the loot table before buying an LS to make sure your potential "winnings" are worth what you are paying.
Lootspots are da bomb!!
or u will end getting salt and exo wood :(
When someone runs a 2 or 3-person adventure they can invite other Guild members to participate in with a quick tag whereby you can receive loot from that adventure. The loot does not change if you don't invite so that 2nd or 3rd "seat" is "wasted". It's fun and it helps other Guild members so it's a great idea to invite your guild mates. You can also swap or trade lootspots to double your loot. Have fun!

The link that I generally give out in help tab when explaining lootspots, it's a pretty thorough explanation
Also do check on that person selling the LootSpot. There have been problems with people selling LootSpots & not honoring them. So make sure you know who your buying it from, make sure they are well known & honorable. There are scammers out there & there isnt nothing the moderators or the game will do to refund you what you lost. Since a transaction took place in the TO(Trade Office), there isnt anything they will do. There is a forum on just that about scammers. Just know the person your buying it from. Also, just because you see 1 FISH for sell in TO, it doesnt mean it is always a Loot Spot. I have heard of people getting scammed by people just posting 1 fish for sale with no intentions of giving out a Loot Spot.
