OK as a high lvl player yes this is not very usefull, but when you are lower lvls it would be great you could focus more on finding or trading for granite instead of EWL or EWP. Just cause they put this out now that most of us are past the point of needing it doesnt mean it is useless to all players. Although it will make it harder to get lower lvls to buy our EWL.

@ravag when i was a lower level, i never needed a exotic sawmill or this new building. i simply traded 1 - 1 with guildies/friends my ewl for their ewp
if new players want to spend gems instead of trading 1/1 or making their own x sawmill then it is what it is

If this is the best BB can come up with, and they need gem sales this badly? I wouldn't bother with any 100% gem sales, it looks like the game may not be here in 3 months.
Nice thought, but the poor cost benefit analysis makes it not worth buying. As others have already said, ewl can be obtained from other sources cheaper, instantly, and without wasting a space on island. I only hope that they used the pumpkin sematary code and did not waste much time creating this thing.
Instead of inventing schemes like this. why not start monthly subscriptions. Would that be a better way to get monies from people? Instead dof something so....just so......ugh.
PS, when are we going to see PvP? been a year since you showed up pictures in a dev diary???
I am happy to see new ideas. Since I am not on all different servers, I do not know if this is useful in others, but it does not appear to be cost effective. Exotic wood has never been a problem for the vast majority of players that I have seen/met.
I hope other ideas are now going to be looked toward.
To the people saying anything new is good, I would disagree. I think many things in history that were new have been shown to not be good.

The majority of this feedback is from long-term players- it seems to be overwhelmingly negative.... that may mean something BB... did the Germans ask for this?
I buy lots of stuff from this game. I am not purchasing this item.

TBH, MA boxes is a good thing so far for loooong time , it make ppl want to spend gem, should focus more one this kind of event or make the game issue better. i see this is a good step up. But seriously this new diary !!!

People have been asking for BARRACKS improvement such as increasing the 25 build count.
FIXES to email to have archive option.
FIXES star menu management.
FIXES to the notification popups that cover up the settlers info area.
Exotic Wood, was one thing if I remember correctly something was wrong about it not being available or something to this on epic workyard... Ron, they just released to testing server for testing the new Exotic Wood Tree School a few days ago, would u please at least wait til the 2nd phase is released b4 slamming them here on live forum... darn, it is our in put to them There, not Here for phase 1 testing. Geeesh, i'm sorry, we've made so much progress... I just hate to get more testing players over there yelling at me about it, when by the time they show up, lol BB will of already made adjustments... As has happened always in past. We have accomplished allot, why this just isn't right i'm sorry.. it makes us testing members look like we are just loafing and nothings getting done there...

my point here is, as a 200 guild membership usually, I've sent mass mails to and mails to first 3 pages of testing server guild leaders asking for 5 things fixed or whatever, I came here and did the same, and the results I've given to BB...
first though, we have to let them get the seasons stuff out and live, and the falls testings finished so they go live, I think that perhaps our requests will be answered pretty soon... patience, patience please...

This is in the testing phase, but personally I don't see the point. I'm always overstocked on elogs. So personally it doesn't matter how much testing you do. This may be great at lower levels but even then I remember trading at 1:1 ratio on elogs to eplanks. Even now you can still get it to 1:1.5. Woopie do. I'll still stick with gathering by adventures & exploerers when their not out gathering map frags/adventures.
Instead of jumping on the 'this is absolutely stupid' bandwagon I thought I'd offer a suggestion to make this building work.
Instead of making it non-refillable, how about making refills craftable in the rarity provision house? Make it cost either hardwood logs or fir log (or both so anyone running a surplus benefits).

I don't think how they change this new building around will make much difference. As developers they should be somewhat familiar enough with the economics of the game, but there is a proven ability of the development team to simply launch imbalanced items live on a regular basis. The follow up concern is the fact that the design team is focusing on things that just arn't really crucial to the communities survival.Quote:

I think I would have preferred an endless iron mine like the copper, or being able ton convert hardwood to exotic wood and marble to granite. What do you think?
