Chat Server Broken ?

same problem for me. tried Chrome, and Firefox on windows and Linux. will not connect

I can not get chat connection either..could someone please respond to this problem. It also shows no one at all online in my guild nor friends so i can not talk to them either.

I got an hour tonite for disrupting trivia.

Same here. I wasn't in global and I certainly wasn't banned. My whole guild is affected. There is another thread by CL_aurboth talking about this issue and that bb is aware, but it would be nice if they could say something on the website.

this is a problem affecting Ares-server and has thus been posted in the ares-section of the forum - I suggest those not being present on Ares to refrain from posting any harassment or other nonsense;
looks like a huge part of Ares does not have any chat available atm. due to technical issues;
