Well. Looks like they released the new mail system to the Polish settler servers.
And from what I've been hearing its a big fail.
The developers pretty much ignored everything we gave them as feedback. (minus the 500 character limit. they fixed that at least).

I am at a loss to figure out how BB keeps fouling things up. Are they trying to drive people away from the game?
Its a shame. Hopefully feedback from the European players will cause some changes to be made.
The problem here is developers don't play the game from a players point of view. They don't understand the daily annoyance and such. They don't understand anything for that matter in what a Player goes through.Quote:

Agreed. The BB's are coming out with cool content, but we the players don't want it, and we didn't ask for it.
well the 500 char limit was a biggie.
now, if they'll just fix the auto delete for private communications

I would just like to delete multiple emails.
BB is getting a bunch of feedback and is reviewing it to see what can be improved before deployment.

There has been feedback on the test server for quite a long time now since they released it on test server. Why were those ignored?
Well. At least on the plus side it got their attention finally when ALOT of people on live are getting upset about it.
To be honest, I fail to see the need for a test server. Broken stuff and bad ideas still get pushed to the production servers. None of the player requested suggestions get implemented. Just pull the test server and surprise us, you don't listen to us anyway.
All feedback is taken into consideration. On the plus side - the Polish servers will get the old mail interface restored while the new version is fixed.
1. give us the option to turn off buff notices. auto delete after 3 days
2. auto delete battle notices after 3 days
3. option to select all of 1 type (ie all battle notices) and 1 click delete all
4. let us keep our private communications or give us an archive. ppl save stuff for future reference. it will be very
annoying/disruptive to lose some of the old mail
5. put a space limit on mail if u need to, to encourage ppl to toss old/unwanted stuff.
6. to save server space, delete/archive old accounts. if they havent been here in a year, they prolly arent coming back
7. theres prolly 1 day/1 week players u could delete too. ppl try it, dont like it, never log in again. 3 months is plenty of time to come back if they intend to play

auto delete buff notices is a great idea! auto delete battle reports too!
I do agree with you. NO point in having test server when all the feedback gets ignored and they push it to live anyways and wait for live people to cry about it and then they end up fixing from live.Quote:
