Hey Shy
You have my vote. You have always been there for those in need and I think you would make an awesome CL
I vote for Evil-J (awesome guides and great technical knowledge of game), RGC (always in help tab, great problem solving and identifying the proper solutions), and Shelleyley (auctions, displays great initiative)....
All three are veterans of the game. They've seen tons come and go, and while others faded away they've only honed their skills to become even greater players and more helpful to others; not only to their own guild but to the whole community. Each has gone beyond just playing this game for the simple fun of it and has now turned it into a personal commitment to share their knowledge, their talents, and their dedication; making this game more enjoyable to all. They are active not only in the game but in the forums as well. They have shown a cool, level head and their leadership skills are undeniable.... There is plenty more that could be said but I feel that these reasons alone exemplifies them above the normal player and makes them not only worthy but capable of the title and position of CL..
TY, for your help and entertainment... I hope you three get rewarded for your contributions
*runs back to G-1 for laughs and silly antics* Whoo!!! ...(^ºoº)>
I'd like to nominate RomanGodCamper and Evil_J, if he's applied
I nominate ST_Michael for CL. As a guild leader he interacts with every member of the guild bringing his knowledge of the game help and encouragement for all the beginners and motivation for those in need. Bottom line up front, He is someone that will bring more of the masses to this game and share the love.
Evil J for sure.
Evil_J and RGC have my vote...if i get one in this gulag.
I would like to support nomination of St_Michael ( post #79 ) - leader of HALO. I'm a member of his guild for about 2 years. During this time St_Michael is very supportive and encouraging in my growth as a user, player and friend. He is involved in the daily guild activities, very open for feedback and still keeps strong leadership. He is very helpful and generous as far as all members are concerned. He manged to create a guild with a great stability - very low rotation. People like him make this game fun and challenge - and that's what it should be. I think he would make a big asset to BB and all users as a Community Leader.
I vote for Melorr.
Shy_Lady is a great asset to the Zeus server. Always willing to help and looking for creative ways to make the game even more fun. She also is very knowledgeable and plays the test server, so she aware of the new items that BB is preparing to roll out. Don't miss out on her as a CL
Taking a sheet out of CL_Aquila-Plume's playbook. Below are the tabulations of nominations. Keep in mind this post is primarily to keep a tab of who has been nominated, the amount of nominations they have received, and if they have submitted an application. This is not a voting system, and the most popular nominee might not be chosen as CL.
This is current up to 2/6/2015 2:15 PM EST. Let me know if you see any discrepancies.

And, completely of their own volition, the community has nominated G_F_M as the Community Troll! :D
I don't see melorr, did she take her application away? 2/6/2014 EST 3:31pm
I'd like to nominate RigidNubs
I vote for RigidNubs
My NOMINATION for Community Leader is:
RigidNubs
A great person of guidance on and off the game
I agree, RigeNubs! Solid player and always helpful.
I would like to nominate myself, RigidNubs, with the nomination from others as well for the position of community leader. I have an active Skype account and have the ability and legal capacity to sign a non-disclosure agreement. I also have no infractions on my account and I play almost all waking hours of the day during the week and many hours on the weekend.
What is the primary server you play on? Zeus or Ares?
I have played on the Zeus Server for about one and a half years.
How have you contributed to the community? Please give examples.
I have been in the help tab and try to answer any questions I can (if they have not been answered already by the few other people that tend to be in there as well) and I have helped out many new people who have joined our guild learn how to play and grow.
What is the first thing you want to do as a CL?
The first thing I would like to try and do is be as helpful as possible in any way possible as a community leader but would also like to bridge the communication gap that seems to exist between BB’s and players in the community. From what I can tell and from asking around, the gap in communication tends to be one of the top complaints in forums and the chat tabs, closely followed by boredom. I think a monthly town hall meeting with BB’s and community leaders would be a great start.
Do you have any ideas to improve the community? (events, contests, etc.)
The best thing I believe that would improve the community would be closing the communication gap with a monthly town hall meeting in the forums or chat tabs. I think overall the community has plenty of events and contests that occur on a fairly regular basis but the main complaint is that the winnings do not make them really worth doing. The costs of some of the events and contests are not equivalent to the loot received but I think with an update to the loot received it would greatly enhance all contests and events. The Christmas event was appreciated by everyone and I did not hear any complaints about it so if we could mimic this event every time all events would be successful. An Olympic event would be great but it is too late to begin that this year.
In our own guild we do Friday Night Trivia, a lottery, scavenger hunts, and other games combining those three that help to keep us a tight nit group who really enjoy playing the game and it would be great to be able to expand these games to the whole community if possible.
What is the community's top requested feature for TSO?
This is a tough one because I have seen a lot of requests for the following ideas: PvP, build more than 25 troops at a time in the barracks, stack like items in the star menu, a command post to house all generals and send selected ones to adventures in one click, a guild bank where resources can be deposited and withdrawn, more island space (rock, tree, and shrub removal buffs), and unlimited floating residences. I would have to say build more than 25 troops at a time would take the cake outside of PvP closely followed by stacking items in the star menu.
What has prepared you to be a community leader for The Settlers Online?
I believe there are multiple things that have prepared me to be a community leader to include: playing TSO for over one and a half years, being a leader and helpful hand in our guild, being a non-commissioned officer (NCO) (sergeant) in the Marine Corps, a firefighter who served many community needs, and being a forum moderator and leader in other online games like TSO. I think having all this experience would help me be a good community leader and would help me to differentiate when it is time to be a community leader and when it is time to be a guild mate or friend in the game. When you establish a friendship or relationship of any kind there will always come a time in which one of those relationships will challenge your leadership role and you need to have the ability to stand up as the leader you have been selected to be and put your relationship to the side to make the right decision or give the correct guidance. I have this ability through all of my experience and I think a good community leader needs this kind of experience and leadership ability.
I agree,
Vote for RigidNubs!
I vote for CL_melorr... She's always there to wake up global-1 :) Never seen RigidNubs in g-1...
I support the nomination of RigidNubs for Community Leader. I've found him to be helpful and knowledgeable. He would be a great addition to the CL team.
I nominate St_Michael
*clicks guild mail*- *types out*- vote for pedro- *send*
I nominate St_Michael. He has developed his guild from a few active players a few short years ago, into a solid active community. New members are always treated as long lost family members just coming home. He provides advice on economic fore thought to help guide your island build and, adventure tags with in the guild to get you acclimated the adventure world. We as a guild support each other with resources, gifts, and buffs to guide each player in advancement and enjoyment of the game. He is a team player with focus on enjoyment of the game by all.
I nominate RigidNubs. He is always offering to help people in our guild. Always willing to offer advice, resources. etc. whatever anyone needs.
I vote for RigidNubs
go go Nubs
I nominate RigidNubs. He is always offering to help people in our guild. Always willing to offer advice, resources. etc. whatever anyone needs.
Well..... my precious vote goes for Evil_J
Sorry for my other great friends who was nominated , but i like to vote for u all if allowed :)
But the choice will always go to Evil_J as first option ..
No need to say much why , but the main reason if Evil_J had help me a lot through this game , even long bfore we knew each other ..
First start playin when there's soccer event , given the link " cempire.org " by lots of people in help tab .. learn from that till i'm level 50 now , and i still used the "cempire.org" till now ..
Not to mention when i was in the same guild with Evil_J , he's been the great help for a long time ... And i believe a lot of people did knew how much contributions he had made ..
So , if the CL must have a great knowledge of the game n willing to help the community , i think Evil_J definitely meet the requirement ..
Not that i'm saying the other didnt meet the requirement .
RGC is a wonderful buddy in game , so as Shelleyley ... and i would like to vote for them too for my 2nd n 3rd vote if allowed :)
Not to mention the other nominee who i believe is a great player and did great help to the community
Well....let be the best win then ... the final will be on BB n Dev hands anyways ...
Thnks ...
Yeah! I'm 2nd! Woot!
I nominate St_Michael from (HALO) New order of Angels. He is on everyday, made a great web site with all the info for all of to advance and talk about the game. He is always there to support us with resources and help on any adv we need help with. Very knowledgeable about the game, great leader and teacher.
I nominate Shelleyley. She is extremely helpful and always active. My friend, Shelleyley, lives in Hawaii and is always on-line late - remember not everyone lives on the East Coast. She would be a great addition to TSO, even though I would prefer not to share her. More importantly, everyone knows her and everyone likes her. She would be a great ambassador for the community.
i like to nominate RigidNub, he is a great players with lots of xp and knowledage in this game and he is very active
Nomination for Melorr
There is a point that yeah a lot of guild support for one person and if that is the case why isn't your own guild stepping to rally behind their nomination. This is what I believe is an inspiring community that if people of a small guild are supporting their own, this should be considered as a valuable trait. At least one part of the larger scope of the game believes in one person, showing that we can pull together to follow after one person. Before RigidNubs' nomination 9 pages of post went by without that same support. Please don't criticize how we operate and chose to put forth our nomination because we didn't for your nomination. We took time and effort to consider the impact of what this means to the game. I've been at this for over 2 years in the game. I've seen a lot of garbage in global, a lot of none sense in other places. Heavy random posting in forums doesn't mean quality posting either. To spend time trolling the posts doesn't mean you're of community quality. We're as much part of the game and feel as much what happens in the game as someone who believes their commitment to be superior by doing so much in other places.
If your own guild can't come to support you then what does that mean for everything else. Your guild should be the first and foremost people to step up because they know you best. If someone outside the guild knows you more, then to me, something is a little off. I digress though, this is a very important event here. I'd prefer a conversation then a tot-for-tat (didn't let me use the word with an 'i' so tot it is). Lets us talk about what we want. I read through the applications. A lot of great qualities. I think there are some strong candidates and believe that those nominating bring value. I'm exceptionally pleased that BB would do this in the first place. Our guild wants the best from these results. I wish the best success for anyone chosen. At least some other gamer will give a great perspective that we all can partake in.
Go RigidNubs! He rocks, you should choose him.
Cleaned up the thread a bit! About to post the new tabulations.
I promote RomanGodCamper. Many don't know this, but he actually had a guild set up to help new players. Guild members were tasked with offering tips and suggestions through the help channel.
