Zeus Community Leader Open Nominations

Taking a sheet out of CL_Aquila-Plume's playbook. Below are the tabulations of nominations. Keep in mind this post is primarily to keep a tab of who has been nominated, the amount of nominations they have received, and if they have submitted an application. This is not a voting system, and the most popular nominee might not be chosen as CL.

I would like to nominate RigidNubs in Zeus, he has been a big help as I build and answers all my questions.

Shelleyley - I saw you as one of the first to mention about the mail system. I agree, I like more options to mails. I find if I want to send mails to my officers I have to do it one at a time. Great idea. I like your application, it is more complete and detailed.

I see a lot of vote for Evil_J. I would like to request some more details or elaborate a bit on your ideas and process. I want to be able to get to know you more. Obviously you have a lot of great comments about you but the application is a little bare to me. I would appreciate your input.

Shy_Lady: Like the idea on Leader chat function or section would be good. This more helpful for us when we have several sister guilds.

St_Michael: Nice application. I agree on confusion in game but as noted communication is key. Like your support on the mail portion.


Besides RigidNubs - I do like what I see from Shelley, Michael and Shy Lady.

There are quite a few good candidates. I've seen many of them on G1 and Help tab and appreciate their insight even from a lurker.
I do know how strong a leader and participant that Rigidnubs is in our guild. I feel he has some good ideas and is not only helpful, but respectful when doing it.
My vote goes to Rigidnubs as I believe his helpfulness will benefit all of Zeus -- especially the newbies in the game.

I have never heard of RigidNub nor seen him in global connecting with those who he would be tasked with speaking for. My nomination of melorr remains and I would encorage those who havent nominated her thinking it doesnt matter in the end to please take a second and speak up for someone who would speak up for you.
Also I have not been asked by anyone in my guild or any friends to nominate her, I just chose too

IMO the CL program should be postponed til PvP comes out so they can fight for the positions.

RGC and Archmage would be, in my opinion, excellant CL's. Both are always very helpful and friendly :-)

I have been playing for more than 2 years. I never even knew we had community leaders. I have seen many helpful players lending advice.
I agree Evil J has made some significant contributions although I have never seen him on chat. Shelleyley is a wonderful auctioneer and a true asset.
I may be bias as I know RigidNubs however I have seen first hand the contributions he has made. He is a very knowledgeable in regards to every aspect of the game. He is always willing to lend his expertise and is available most every day.

Yarp defiantly gotta add a nomination for melly, i can't even remember how often shes come to my assistance in any number of ways, most of which when I was banging my head on my desk in frustration because I can't find that 'last' evil collectable.

Please make Melorr CL, she won't disappoint. - easily one of the most friendly, helpful, and all round 'bonus' to global (On zeus) - there are plenty of decent people, but melly truly stands out and above them all. (Sorry guys, just tellin the truth!)

I would like to nominate myself (Lisa777) as well as evilJ.

What is the primary server you play on? Zeus or Ares?

I only play on Zeus, this server has my full attention.

How have you contributed to the community? Please give examples.

I have Ran my own guild (TDK) for a year now and helped players grow from level 1 to level 50. I take part in any server event, for example I was one of the highest number of balloon makers in the server contest. I also help answer questions in the trade tab as well as my guild tab on a daily basis for many hours.

What is the first thing you want to do as a CL?
I would like to thanks all that voted for me as the first thing to do. I also would like to commit myself to being online at least 4 hours a day to help other. ( most days I am here from 4-8 hours)

Do you have any ideas to improve the community? (events, contests, etc.)

I run contests in my guild on a regular basis, but any of the contest I run can be applied to the server as a whole, such as a leveling contest with prizes to help lower level players. I also run buff contests where we choose a member and buff them while they are offline and whoever buffed the most in a certain amount of time wins a gem item or prize of some sort. I think we should have more events such as more stuff for valentines day like explorers find hearts ( like easter finding eggs),same as st.patty's day explorers find four leaf clovers and we can redeem them for gem items.

What is the community's top requested feature for TSO?

The top request I would says besides pvp would have to be to allow us to train larger amounts of men in the barracks at once instead of having to do it in lots of 25.

What has prepared you to be a community leader for The Settlers Online?

Being a guild leader has prepared me to be a CL, along with management positions in real life.

I cast my vote in support of Lisa777 as a CL. She's always very helpful and courteous, and takes a huge role in participating in community events. I believe that those people on the Zeus server who know her really like her. She'd be an awesome CL that I would highly respect.

I nominate melorr and romangodcamper. They both were very helpful and friendly to me when I started..and they continue to be.

Wow, lots of good choices for a couple new CL's.

I would nominate and be happy to see any or all of Evil_J, Lisa777, RomanGodCamper, Matrix_Kahn, Melorr, amd Shelleyley.

I have been playing this game a long time now, almost a couple years now, and while I tend to keep to myself other than for trading and the occasional trade banter and auction lurking, I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on who is who and I do know the helpful, long tenured, old school players.

That said, I see a few names on here who I have never seen or heard from, in any tab, and I do frequent them all fairly regularly, even just to lurk. I do understand that you all may have a guild mate (or 2) that you feel the sudden urge to finally post on the forums to nominate/vote for, and I should remind you all that voting for someone just because you "like them" or are guilded with them, or because they have helped you in the past, does not make them a quality choice for a CL. I have good friends who I have known for years and I love them dearly, but that does not mean they would make a good president or political party.
