Undocumented Patch changes
In post-patch day one, a few other changes have been discovered that somehow missed the patch notes. In seems that while some people were attempting to analyze the effect of changing resource consumption and management to make them more "realistic", no one had the opportunity to discuss the other things changed.
- You will no longer receive a pop-up notification when a building is buffed when you are on the island. The also means you cannot click on it to jump directly to that building either. It may be a bug, but other pop-up notifications, i.e. production completion and trade, are working as they did previously
- You will no longer receive notifications in your news regarding buffing. This applies to both the person placing buffs and person receiving the buffs. It may be a bug as well, and generally neutral.
- You will no longer receive 25% back from destroying wells or fields before the expire. While the floating information still says you will get resources back if demolished before they empty, when you actually click on it, there is a new pop-up screen telling you that nothing will be returned. Mines appear to be working as they did previously. For players who do not remove low fields or wells, this will not have an effect; for those who maximized their resources by destroying these before emptying, sorry. Cannot see this being a bug, as it required additional changes to the GUI for it to work.
Please feel free to post any additional unpublished change that are found.
