"New General" ? What kind of new General? Or is it just "additional veterans" ?

no i was refering to the star coin gens that were on the test server for a while. the sneak peak mentioned "new" general why not released the ones they already came up with?Quote:

New General is available for Eggs. And a lot of eggs.
He used to be the test server Kung Fu Master general. 200 units last strike. (was terrible).
They at least updated him to be first strike instead now. But I'm not sure if he's going to be all that useful. Possibly 40 wolves trap maybe. If he cant take them all out by himself.
OK here come the questions:
1 if we already have a vet from other events can we get another?
2 if we already have floaties from other events can we get more?
3 if we already have explorers from other events can we get more?
4 well you get what i'm getting at
Is everyone able to obtain that veteran general?

The "Master of Martial Arts" general looks to be very promising in my humble opinion. The Ability to do 500-450 (the way it is described in game) first strike damage is similar to getting 50-75 extra Cav without fear of losing Cav because they are "the weakest target." This general w/ 1 Cav was able to do all of Bounty Hunter (except final camp) w/o losses. I know Bounty Hunter is just a simple introduction to adventures but some of you may see the implications here. The MMA will be one of my primary goals for Easter event if it is indeed offered without changes from the test server.
MMA is like an MBA except his business is killing.
It makes me more curious about the eventual General book chain more than anything else.
Might be worth also buying the Gems version of the KungFu general if he's available for gems after the event.
He makes a better sac general than the others right now.
Especially those camps that have a few dogs that you normally need to send in 1 sac wave of cav just to clear them out. Now you can save good bit of cavs.
Really looking forward to the new "Hero" Martial Arts General!! Great Idea BB's. Event is looking great on test server! I do wonder about the high difficulty of obtaining eggs, event quests are rather expensive (example: pay 1500 exo-logs for 10 eggs), egg hunt is somewhat tedious and you can only play it on your friends island, not yourself. Best option may be the Merchant where 300 eggs costs 895 gems; still, this is basically a wash if you buy the 895 gem watermill for 275 eggs. I did just send out 10 explorers to see if they will bring me eggs :)

im a bit disappointed with the event, yeah the general is nice, but the rest its just the same thing..
- was expecting a new building (like in every other event, theres always a new building)
- it looks like eggs wont be any easy to get (compared to other event resources..)
- theres not an unlimited item thats worth buying, making the event interesting stuff limited (halloween had zombies, xmas had the new adventures, etc, here the rabbit charms are just too expensive)

Well most of the german guides already have 220 versions. but that was the old 220. This new general will mostly be a tag or sac wave. This will make it very limited use. On my Guides I would simply have an option at one camp to sac him, If he save troops. Only camp this helps i can think of right now is Motherly love
As for the other Items. As always more explorers are nice even if its just one more. Floating nobles helps. a 4th 250 and the 220 will be the last thing I will buy.
Any word on when Easter event will begin? Easter is on April 20th so my guess would be the first week of April?

if the vet/scout/floaters arent available to the ppl who are currently maxxed, there is only one item worth getting (MMA gen), looks like this will be a short easter
Not sure. The floating residences are limited because water slots available for buildings are limited. If they increase the limit on floating residences, it will reduce the space available for future floating buildings.Quote:

its not even favoring those types of ppl, but being fair. i dont think ppl that have been playing longer than others should be penalized by not being able to purchase event rewards in shop, while the newer players are able to buy them (and sometimes more, if u remember last easter- if players missed the easter before they were allowed to buy x2 scouts).
The silly thing is to limit shop purchases with Gems in the first place since that is what makes you money. So who cares when people started, you WANT (as a business) to allow them to FULLY catch up with Gems. This only makes business sense...Quote:
