Community Leaders Announcement

On February 1st, we opened up the Community Leader program to new nominations. On the Zeus server, we received 15 official applications and over 330 nominations. On Ares, we received 14 official applications and over 200 nominations. After the nominations closed, we spoke with each candidate one on one to get a better idea of their goals and personality.

We want to thank everyone that was nominated, as it was not an easy decision to make. Each candidate possessed the qualities befitting a great Community Leader.

As a team, we decided to take on more Community Leaders so we have an equal amount of 5 Community Leaders per server. Without further ado, here are your new Community Leaders:

These Community Leaders will be undergoing a trial period of three months while they transition into their new role. During this time, they will have the CL_ tag and the green font in chat.

Why are the Ares Cl's all over in Zeus chat?
They are not part of the Zeus community.

I'm not in Zeus chat. I promise. :)

For general information:

As Community Leaders have many functions, including providing information and help to players when there are game issues, it was decided that the CL's should be available to assist on the server other than the one they are normally based. Many of the CL's already had accounts they played on both servers, so both of their accounts were designated with the CL label. Other players who did not previously have accounts but are willing to assist on the other server created accounts which were then designated as well. This will help provide some overlap coverage for when some CL's are not available.

It should be assumed that the people who previously were players in either server will continue to play as before, regardless of the additional title they carry. For the people who did not previously actively play in one of the servers, that is an individual decision. However, as the CL's were generally chosen as players who are active and supportive in their community and continue to be players, it should be assumed that we will continue to assist others, regardless of which server we happen to be playing on at the moment, if the need arises.
