Manuscript

It took days to create my first manuscript and I received the new quests to invest at least one on my explorer and geologist after picking it up. But I can't find it in my star menu. Can someone tell me where to find it?

edit: I opened one of my specialists - the explorer and can see that there are manuscript - tome - codex - etc at the very top - but these still all say zero. Did I lose my manuscript??

it's in your store house doggit. check 2nd tab i think

if u haven't used it yet, the numbers in the specialist should say 1.
did u maybe use it to make a tome? tomes cost manu, and codex costs tome.
oh and the costs go up every so often also. like every 10 or so?
my tome now costs 3 manu to make.

isn't there a set limit it can go up?

yes i believe so jack, but im not positive what it is and was too lazy to go look it up

it takes me 5 manuscripts to make a tomb, and 3 tombs for a codex

someone has to keep u entertained ;)

by the time they get ur account unlocked, u could level a new character back to where u were...

Yep Jackrack - that's where it was. Second tab in the mayor's house. But the numbers at the top of my specialists still say zero - now that I found it - how do I apply it to a specialist?

edit: FYI - I'm on level 22 trying to complete this quest - "invest at least 1 manuscript(s) in one of your geologists" - maybe I'm missing something really simple - appreciate the help.

Wait - found it here - the manuscript shows up in the skill tree window - thanks again.

• Use at least one Manuscript on your Geologist. (When you have produced a Manuscript in the Bookbinder you can use it to teach a specialist a new skill. When the Geo is 'at home' (not searching for a deposit) click him in the Star then click the button in the upper right corner of the new window to "Open Skill Tree". You can choose to use the Manuscript on either of two skills, when you've chosen click the green arrow to confirm. Be certain of your choice, getting used Books back later is very expensive.

At higher levels these quest chains ask a lot and until BB rethink them it is, quite honestly, cheaper and much less constricting simply to ignore them and skill specialists as best suits you, not the quest.
