ok since a maintenence is happening tonight why not start it early?
Here's a question nobody has asked (afaik)
How much damage does the martial arts general do? Is it the same as a normal general? (120)
Even I am excited about this guy. I want him.
Settlers,
We've update the developer's diary in order to clarify some confusion about limited items.
The former version was specifically referring to players who have participated in Easter Events of the past years.
The updated version should be more simple to understand.
Even if you already have some limited items like the Watermill,
each player can get the same amount of limited items for eggs in this year's event.
The maximum amount of Watermills in the event shop is five for all players.
Happy Settling,

Outrage Guild is ready to tackle this fine holiday event. A job well done and kudos to the development team! «¨¿¨»
That's a much better clarification, instead of 10,000 Easter Eggs to get everything I want, it's back to about 6000. Shame I won't be getting 3 Experienced Explorers (or if I was lucky 2 Veterans), but this is much better, I guess I'll just have to rely on future Easter Events for the other things.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience, far better than Empire. Congrats on a beautiful design and compelling pace.
I spend far more time with you than my wife approves...
6015 for everything, and I do want everything. 4640 of that is non-tradeable. I can forego the watermills for now if I have to, though I've been putting off buying those specifically until this event. It sounds like it might be possible to get much of that through treasure searches. Any suggestions how much eggs might end up costing? Luckily I have been hoarding gold waiting for the improved silos to come down to realistic prices.
So excited!!! My first event!!! YAY!
Cool, PadenHawk. Easter's a fun one, or so I've heard. Just be wary of the rabbids.
ok still kinda cornfused???? if i have all the stuff from last year what can i get this year??? i know watermills 5
I am pretty sure this is not true - Based on your logic you can have 4 Vets - 2 from events ( 2012, 2013) and 2 for gems. But players who got 2 event Vets can buy ONLY 1 Vet with gems. As far as I know the max number (as of today) is 3 Vets. Because some players can buy 2 vets with gems (missed the 2012 event), and other players only 1, it creates confusion with the ability to buy an extra one during Easter 2014.
So it's 6015 Eggs for all items. The original post was amended the limits are for THIS YEAR"S event. So everyone is able to get the maximum of each item/gen it is pretty clear. Of course... that is probably why they lowered vets from 2 to 1
and G_f_m you troll. You're perfectly capable of reading the post a couple pages back where it says everyone can get ALL items posted at the beginning of this thread. It has been updated.
Note to BB: This thread says the event starts on Tuesday, April 9th. The 9th is Wednesday, and the front page says Wednesday.
The event starts on Wednesday night/ Thursday morning, correct?
If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.
You have been watching "The Easter Bunny Is Coming To Town" too? (An old Rankin-Bass stop-motion animation favorite. The kiddo loves it, and that's my favorite line from the "Halleluja Jones" character.)
Many years ago my boss told me this. He also said: "Do something, even if it is wrong."
ready ready!
I thought it was 3 explorers? ={
easter scout: limit ONE this year. In the past it was possible to get 2, so 3 TOTAL
Well 2 if u missed the Easter before so if it were like that, this event would have an overall x3 Easter vets (3 per Easter)
Dear Settlers,
Please note that the following part of the developer's diary (first post) has been updated:
To explain exactly how Easter Quest Chains work, here are the answers to a few frequently asked questions:Quote:
During the Easter event, all active players levels 17+ will get the chance to cooperate with Easter NPCs:
They will assign one quest chain every5 days6 days, including 5 subquests each.
- How are these 6 days calculated?
Once a player receives an Easter Quest Chain, the countdown to 6 days will begin.
When these days are over, the next Easter Quest Chain will become available.
- Does this mean that every player has an individual counter?
Yes, this is correct, every player has an individual counter. This is the reason why
other players may receive new Easter Quest Chains at different times.

150 Easter Eggs for all active players
- Why is it 150 Easter Eggs?
Successfully completing the entire Easter Quest Chain provides a reward of 150 Easter Eggs.
The package will be sent to all active players, because the information
about the quest chain countdown was not correct.
- When will the package be sent?
The package will be sent on April 30th,2014.
Sending out the gifts on this day will ensure that all players who actively played
this year's Easter Event will receive a bonus Easter Egg package.
Have fun during our Easter Event!

Zeffin, all the info has been transferred to Jamdoggy's wiki, so the the spreadsheet is no longer needed. I meant to take the link down, sorry.

My first time so this will be interesting:) I hope to get a Vet General , Explorers , and Floating Noble. I think we will have a chance to get a 220 General ??
I didn't bother testing out all the quest chains on the test server.
Anybody know how many eggs are earned total possible for all the quest chains (exclude trading/explorer/collecibles findings).?
dang that box looks sweet another good thing missed out on errr
each quest chain earns 150 eggs total, counting the eggs for the subquests. we get 1 chain every 6 days (from the time u accept one), i believe 4 total. we weren't able to test out all the chains, due to resets.
I am still waiting for my first quest chain.
