Oh it's going to be one of those 'not worth to ever do' type events. :(

That's just 1 subquest. Do all 5 of them for 50 eggs, and u get another 100 eggs for finishing the chain. Gotta consider all the factors.
Yeah, the starting rates for these is crazy. Do people really pay 30:1 (or more)?
All events start out with crazy prices for eggs. Supply and Demand.
As more come into the game and as people get all the buildings/generals/buffs they want, the price of eggs will crash.
Happens every event, the smart people wait...

The quests/subquest can't be "deleted/abandoned" so if you want to be able to get a new chain in 6 days, you're going to have to complete the current chain. You're really locked out from getting eggs if you don't pay that 1500 exotic wood. And yea, I have to agree that subquest is probably one of the annoying ones.
And the ones that require people to find eggs through searches. Those could in theory prevent you from completing the chain quests in time to get another chain before the entire event ends.
Again this stuff is the same as last year and I'm surprised BB hasn't learned anything from last year's complaints.
The only real new thing this year are the collectibles allowing you to earn eggs from 'crafting' it in the mayor and 'buffing another friend' in hopes they find all the eggs.
(and the COSTS of each of the items in eggs have been raised.)
The big whine is that some of the eggs are invisible! Egg hunt buffs are bugged. I hate looking for eggs when some are glitched and cannot be seen.
I don't like that the hidden egg buff runs for 12 hours even after you've found all the eggs. This prevents one from buffing their mayor's house with a love potion or sip from the kettle. You should be able to run both buffs at the same time.

love potion comes in handy when u hit the easter quest that has u make 50 settlers :)
feast or supporter hats are so much better than potions. still kinda cute
I want to complain about the horrible drop rates for the egg paint collectibles. I can't even dream of making 1 egg finder buff per day with the amount of egg paints that show up on my island.
badtrip, i get those, its the simple eggs that wont drop for me. i think they come in batches. this is where trading comes in
My last batch had a good amount of paint for a change. Otherwise, I've been really struggling at it. I had the same problem at Christmas.
I had one trade where the person did an even swap for baskets, which I have way too many of, but most of the trades are just stupid/unfair. At least I see the price of eggs has finally started to drop, down to 26:1.
Balance issue with event chain. Why would anyone like pay lot to get few eggs, when u get them more easily from explorers and adventures? Even with 3 explorers u get amount of whole quest chain in few days. There should be some reason for the event chains. Even buying from TO is cheaper then doing chains.
This game has been down quite a lot lately, easy way to rip off gems if you always have to begin count down again. More bugs in event than Orkin could handle. Pretty sloppy for the deutsch

especially sloppy considering most if not all of these bugs appear on test and still nothing is done til it hits live. i guess german craftsmanship isn't what it once was
My complaint is today's maintenance. It's going to occur when I do a bulk of my playing ... and Wednesday is one of the worst nights for tv. Dagblammit!
BB, please put some more people on fixing TSO. This is disgracefull.
Survivor's one of the best shows on television, even after all these years.
Terrible time, though. I don't login all day at work, so then would have been perfect. But if they had pulled the plug at noon, everybody would still be whining because of the lack of notice.

I am so done with this game. i came back after hearing there were some major changes and found that nothing has changed except for the worse. The game is more unreliable than ever.

It's dropped a bit on Ares, now about 26. Too rich for my blood. I'm not planning on buying anywhere near that level, so I'm willing just to skip everything I can't buy on my own if the pricing doesn't get reasonable.
Eggs are 20gc to buy on Ares right now and have been for over 24 hrs.

The xmas event and last years easter event were great. This years event is under whelming. And what the hell is up with $3000 eggs.$ Talk about inflation! Good thing my explorers bring back enough eggs.
I need about 3000 more eggs.
