Because people are lazy. I will never give up my Calphalon tri-ply non-teflon pans, or my cast iron collection. It just cooks better than non-stick.

From neither. It was an old firehouse nickname he got when he served years ago as a volunteer. It just stuck forever, so people still call him Spike, even the ones he didn't know in the fire service.

That's actually my avatar on the offline Anno 1404 PC game. I liked it, so I used it for here too. I wish they would come out with some better female avatar choices, and I REALLY wish they would let us change our avatar in-game.

I think it's debatable that Goofy is a dog. He seems more like an "it"-sortof cross between a dog and a horse (check out those teeth!). And heck -- Mickey is a mouse and only walks on 2 legs.
