This guide is a little outdated now that exotic logs are much more common, right?

I think that's still the best use of those three books. They're mostly just filler books for when you're doing very long treasure searches, during events.

I would rather have a disease than more exotic logs.

Are you sure Wild Determination increases event items on searches?

it used to, does not seem to help this event

I still like the set up, I have been sending out for adventure searches for the ali baba more then artifacts lately and the tree still works good for it. Not really alot of great choices for filler on that level

I went with medium search on my new lucky instead of exo logs. Not sure how much I'll use it, but it seems like decent filler.

For the Lucky Explorers, I did this:

11 - Manuscripts
9 - Tomes
1 - Codex

As I mentioned before, I didn't see much need in reducing my Lucky search times, so I opted to make it as cheap as possible while still maxing my amount of granite for medium searches.
