UN-Lucky find :mad:

on the lucky find on the Geo's I had the one booked to that find one marble and one iron since the beginning of the science system. those were both at the beginning has this been NEFRED too? it claims a 15% find rate and if that was the fact I should have found a few since the start of the Science System but for months now it's been zilch, zero, and NADA. has anyone been finding the EXTRA deposits or was it just a one time thing? if it has been Nerfed can I get those books back so I can redo the Geos to another specialty?

I have a geologist set for finding an extra iron and marble depo and he finds them. Actually there are two extra marble depos, one in s4 and one in s9. One extra iron depo in s8

i have one also it's just he hasn't found one since the begining

found one of the extra marble depos last night, on 2nd send attempt.

i guess it's just my lazy geos that won't find the extra deposits

do you search all the time or only when you have missing deposits?

Geologist will only find the extra deposits if all regular marble and iron depos are already found. It's still only a 15% chance to find the extra deposits, so it may take a few tries. I have sent him and he returned on first try with extra depo, other times it may take 10 or more tries. And depending on if a deposit depletes right after you send for the extra deposit, he will find the newly depleted one first.

I only use the extra deposits as a backup for when regular ones deplete while I'm offline. That way your not always looking for the extra depos, it would get old quick, having to send over and over again all the time. And you would get FEDUP like G_F_M

I suggest sending in a ticket. My explorer has the Sophisticated Pillager skill which is supposed to give a 30% chance of finding a bonus adventure. He found a couple right at the beginning, but then he didn't find any for months, even though I sent him on a long adventure search every day. I put in a ticket and, although I received no response, he suddenly started finding bonus adventures. He's actually slacked off again, so I may have to send in another ticket.

ok finally got this to work once you have all depos keep sending him out til you get something and it's not 15% belive me

those extra garrison camps are blocking the deposits

cost prohibitive for most people to have geos with both 8% (natural digger) and 2 marble/iron deposits. basically if i want it - i will have to spend gems to unspec a geo after this or ...a really sad amount of time building a useless geo and not going towards future generals/ect.
