I completed the Witch of the Swamp adventure today without using any soldiers and it I did not get any credit for the achievement. I don't know if Elites count against it, but the description says you can still use them.

So you used Elite Soldiers but not Soldiers?
Did you use the MMA general? I've heard about issues with the achievements not registering if you use the MMA.
I did use MMA, thats probably what the issue was

Apparently, the MMA counts as Cavalries. However, it does work on other "don't use" quests sometimes. Some of the quests are bugged. As BB_Rawren suggested, please let Support know.Quote:
