Daily Fixture - Missed one and done?

For the daily fixtures event, I missed one day because I didn't realize I had to pick my prize. I just clicked the day and nothing, so I thought it wasn't active yet. Then the next day I realized I had to pick a prize, but now I'm one day behind. Is there or will there be a way to get caught back up, or am I hosed for the big prize?

keep doing them daily.
you can go back and open the previous days, its costs a bit of gems for each one.
for that prize door, you have to have all the previous ones open before it will open.
