Looks like there will be a new battle system coming.
That image above on the rollover from the test server news says.
"New Barracks" and "New Weaponsmith"
Not sure what new weapon smith will produce. Maybe the new barracks will be doing new units using the new weapons?
The survey pop up bugged out when I clicked to start it.
"New Battle System?" maybe PvP?
Kewl, this is just what we've been needing. Hope the barracks allows for making hundreds of troops at a time instead of just 25.
WAIT!!! if PvP does come does this mean the end of the world is near too?
i'm not convinced it has anything to do with pvp. the questionnaire asks about how you do adventures, and there was something similar a while back along the same lines...asking if we liked the current way battles work in adventures.
It might just be a totally new adventure type. And the new battle system is only for the new adventures. With new units.

I would love to see that. It would be terribly complicated to code tho so I doubt it. A separate island that you put resources into would be a nice way to go.
The fairytales were/are cool to do. Another series similar to that would be cool.
I have always been in favor of seperate islands to do PvP. Did a few writeups on my idea. No more. I gave up.
PvP should be tied to Guilds and involve separate islands. Maybe the items could go into a future guild bank or get split evenly among all active guild members. I say this as a non-guild member that doesn't want to get involved with PvP unless there are safeguards put in to prevent the game being owned by the biggest spenders. In the last game I played, they added in 'orange' heroes that were superior to everything else as a pure money grab. That basically destroyed the already unbalanced game. Now it's shut down.
I hope this new barracks and new weaponsmith can be used in all old adventures and not some new adventures with a different new battle system.Quote:

And I'd like it if it was similar to the provision house as well. Where you can select how many "weapons" you want to create with what resources. The normal weaponsmith production method is kind of too strict in that you have to always the proper resources or a big red exclamation point floats over those weaponsmiths, but if you can set it to how MANY weapons you actually need it will only use that many resources, allowing you to stock up on those resources, for the next time you need so many weapons.
