The official "Suggestion" thread is locked

I think it's because the thread wasnt on that section "news and announcements" before

It's in "Forum -> Announcements -> Forums -> News & Announcements -> [Ubi Official] Suggestions", fairly sure it wasn't always there so either it's moved to a more locked area or permissions in that section have changed. Seems an odd place for it, perhaps it was meant to land in "Forum -> Main section -> all game worlds -> Feature suggestions and requests".

And - "Delete post" is in player's Edit options! Cheers! Imma leave this anyway though.

ah, someone decided to move the furniture around a bit :)

they didn't pay much attention to it anyway so. and i'm sure the "suggestion" you wanted to add it already there. since the players don't look in it to see if thier idea hasn't already been posted why should BB?

submit a ticket mod_red told me. under Misc.... then the customer service will reply to you say something like will be promoted to the Devs if they like it... and so on. made me feel a heck of a lot better and not ignored, try it ;)
