I am just loling at the nords comments on test. "Skip the last camp (leader) cause its not worth loosing 2x waves of 200 Xbows. You are losing 400 xp and .. well the loot (!). That is a fine solution from the devs perspectives. Leave last camp so you can get the xp from adventure but not the loot. I like the way devs thought that one through:P
get your beans now, hurry.
looking to sell a lvl 5 FT castle cheap inquire within
Lowering Troll-Phu offer by 10% on my FT castle :)
All this talk is driving up the bean prices drastically. :(
It should. If the changes hit life there won't be FT ls. Only swaps between those few people who can actually amass 3-5k advance units to waste them. You will not see much beans/stalks being sold after that, because a lot of bean distribution will be through guildies only.
I'm not in a guild. I play maps solo usually. I've been collecting beans via the market. In the past week or two, the price has suddenly shot up like 25-30%, dagnabbit.
Also I am now afraid of selling swords.
bb kaurkal has said repeatedly that the changes are in a very early stage and many adjustments still need to be made. i dont understand why everyone is in a panic over something thats only in testing. half the stuff in testing never makes it to live. the devs are listening to the feedback. give them time to do the work.
constructive feedback is best done over in testing forums. thats where the devs will see it, and all players have access to those forums. bringing stuff from testing over to here just incites confusion, rumors and panic. just my two cents.
changing foxes back to 40 damage....is needed.
Psaltry constructive feedback is being given over and over. The link at the beginning of the thread IS the feedback. After testers said the FT adventures are becoming really hard with new balance what did the devs do on sept5? INCREASED even more(!) the enemies HP and attack values. Don't know about you but that is not a pretty prediction for whats coming ahead.
Frankly I don't care, already did the quests got my castle and never actually liked any of the FT (a massive losses of troops for few beans? They could threw a couple of books in it too). I am just feeling the pain for players who are not there yet and will be coming to do them after the "new balance" hit life. This will be such a pain for a fresh 50. Not really sure if many people find it worth doing, not to mention the resources and time needed to prepare the troops and then, to remake the losses...
what we need is a good "RABBLE RABBLE" there said.....i feel much better now
Here is a warm, fuzzy, fluffy plush Bunny Troll-Phu. Go cuddle. Feel better? :)
To the people who say this is nothing-maybe you haven't invested anything here and don't care, or at the point of leaving anyway, people who still value what they bought with REAL money are about to have it stolen from them, roughly half of what they bought is being taken from them, in the general, in the buildings and resources they acquired, again if you are leaving who cares? If you are staying, expect it to take twice as long in real time for anything to get done, with every game moving faster, older games having blitz servers, and speeding things up in every way this game is slowing things down by at least half or more, somethings won't even be doable any longer-or at least they cost so much they aren't worth doing, making a good chunk of current content useless.
At the same time, nerfing recruits makes the barrier for entry higher, less people will stick it out while the entertainment value will be half what it was as they encounter multiple dead ends of adventures which aren't even worth doing. Farm social has quests which actually COSTS resources, but they are the only thing to do in a game that moves at a near glacial speed already-which is why I was out of there once I figured that out.
This is obviously a money grab, figuring this is a mature game and try to grind out as much money as possible before they close the game. Games die on their own over time, usually when there is a lack of new content, and no matter how they frame it, this is a content REDUCTION(less usable adventures, twice the work for half the rewards, production chains taking longer, costing more, and that is before you have to rip up non-refundable installations to make it go). I would be surprised if this works in the short run, but in the long run there is no way this is a money maker for them-everything points to the dev's outlook that they don't want to compete with other games out there and they just want to pick our pockets while we still have some interest.
Some people use the term "rage quit" like it is a 4 letter word(actually it is 2 four letter words). But whether you pay or don't pay to be here, the departure of a paying customer who cared enough to come to the forum and explode shows there are 20 players who will quit without the public display and 50 players thinking exactly the same thing who are on the fence. A hundred paying players is more than a month of salary for a dev, or 1 less month for a dev to have a job, think about that before you kick us in the face and think how smooth you are.
you do know the "nerfing" got nerfed right?
RABBLE RABBLE !! ;p
lol
