Stuck on Loading Map

Was on playing yesterday just fine till the game started to really lag. Hit refresh and haven't been able to get by the loading map box with the big blue screen in the background ever since. Yes I have cleared caches, deleted cookies, even made sure everything was updated.. even used a friends computer to try and log in and still back to the loading map for hours on end. So much to a good start to the Halloween event. Sorry to those I was doing advs with..unfortunately I cant get back *cries* as I do not know any other way to fix this. Hope to many others aren't having this same issue.

So, I made a trade with a guild mate and the goods didnt show up. This has happened before where a buff did not show or goods did not appear in inventory, so i reloaded the game. when i did, i was stuck at "loading map." It has been like that for hours now. No one can visit my island either. I have done everything suggested on the forums for connectivity issues (cleared cache, rebooted, cleared flash, stood on my head while chanting the spiderman mantra). The problem is not on my end. My son can access his account from the same browser on my machine but i cannot access my account from his. It is definitely an account issue. I tried (unsuccessfully) to open a ticket, so I sent an email (to which I have not gotten a response yet). I was in the middle of a coop with the guild, an event just started and I can't access the account. posting here on the off chance someone has a magic bullet or maybe support will see and respond.

I am having the same issue. Can't log in from my son's machine either, but he can access his account from mine. It is a server side issue for me.

Same here. I get a "server is busy. Please try again later" message after a few minutes of the loading map blue screen.

Haha ya i missed the freebies last night cause of it too..guess it will be doubled as soon as they fix it and let me back on...im going through withdrawls!

I'm having the same issue

I have the same issue. Updated Flash Player, Chrome is current, cleared browser cache and cookies. Still stuck a "Loading Map" for a very long time. I stop waiting after about 15 minutes.

I am also stuck at "Loading Map" for about the fifth time now. So far every time it happens it doesn't get fixed until after the next maintenance is over and then suddenly it works again. I was trying to move buildings to make room for the pumpkin patches this time and it always seems to happen to me after using the move building feature. This is the second time it happened to me right after a maintenance and I suspect this time I will miss the first week of the Halloween event. I wish they would address the old bugs like this one before creating new ones since this one locks the player out of the game. I think since the developers know of this issue but also know that it will be cleared with the next maintenance, they don't give it any priority.

I suspect we'll miss the entire event by the time the issue is fixed

so we miss over a week of the event......isn't that nice.

Also a whole week worth of earning pumpkins gone! Not to mention the 100 gems..but most of all the bloody mines, i wonder how many people will lose their lvl 5 iron mines or lvl 5 or even 6 now gold mines... Sure bet we dont get reimbursed for those either. At least this means i so will NOT be buying gems this time around since i can NOT count on being able to get onto the game to spend them. Rant done haha

And BB is spending time to develop a whole new battle system for PvP, which few like. Time and manpower should be spent on fixing the log on problem.

I'll be lucky if I have a guild to goto when they finally fix things.

as a rule whenever maintenance or a new event is introduced TURN OFF anything that may run out!! this happens almost every time. thats why i usually only run stuff from tuesday til sunday at the latest. and i do sunday just in case i forget to sleep i still have 1 day before they shut down

See I always shut everything off as well for that very reason.. but i was on playing tuesday afternoon had started a bk for swaps to get pumpkins (sorry guys i owe on that, i havent forgotten) and all was well, till i started to lag..i hit refresh and havent been able to since...so i had thought i was safe and turned things on which i would have turned off before bed...which apparently did me no good :(

Same issue, 3 days now, still loading map.
I hope they will give us the bonus pumpkins we are missing, but somehow I doubt it :(

Same issue here, I bought and placed 3 villages schools, tried to make a purchase in T.O., window greyed out and mouse turned into hourglass, i hit refresh and stuck on "Loading Map" blue screen. This happened to me back in august and i was unable to log in for almost 14 days (2 rounds of maintenence) WTG BB!!

I just hope the maintenance tomorrow will fix this

I am having the same problem since the day after the Hallowen Event update. I did everything I was asked to do by the technical support "specialist" named Rivers. Updated Flash Player, Chrome is current, cleared browser cache and cookies and cleared my DNS with absolutely no results. The problem is clearly on their side not the user-side and they know it by this point because so many of us are having the same problem and we have all done what they have asked us to do. I have gone through the entire process on three different computers and I have the same problem on all three. I have had friends logged in to the game on their account on all three computers since then successfully while I cannot log into the game using any of the computers. My complaint has been passed on to the "programming team" since then and I am awaiting further notification on the status of this problem. I hope they resolve it soon because at this rate we are going to lose out on the Halloween Event substantially. I hope they recompense us for the lost play time because I have spent a lot of money on this game's online store and expect better service then I have received on this technical problem. It's ridiculous that it is taking this long to resolve.

ok update still cannot get on game sent in several tickets replys etc... I tried to get on test server I can with no problems so why cant I get into reg game??? I also noticed that if you hit gem shop button another messagewill come up with a you have been banned from the settlers online that's not right either strange errors messages!!! and of course still getting the general error message

They are completely ignoring us. My situation was forwarded to the "Programming Team" almost two weeks ago by a guy named "Rivers" on the Technical Team and have not heard from him or the "Programming Team" since except for the one time I contacted Rivers after a week of waiting only to be told that once the "Programing Team" has had a matter forwarded to them no ETA can be provided about fixing. It is now over a month since I have been able to log in successfully: since the day after the Halloween patch. Unbelievable. I am pretty sure I am now just being ignored and I doubt the "Programming Team" has begun to resolve my problem, if they have even bothered to read the report.

I was going along just fine, lag not much worse than normal, and all of a sudden, I get this message pop up "Server Zone Crashed. An error was detected on this zone. Please try again" No matter what I try, I get the same message after I go thru the initial load.. I have refreshed, cleared cache, rebooted my machine, all to no avail.
I can log on just fine to Test, but not to Zeus. I asked a friend to try to log in as me, and she got the same error, but she can get around on hers just fine.
Not only am I going to loose all my mines, etc., but I've been working since the first day of accomplishments on the 1-year logging in every day accomplishment; that's gonna be down the tubes now! :(
