This, so very much this. Keeping things like queuing only 25 items at a time is very disappointing.

Patience is a virtue. Relax and enjoy the game and don't worry about the small stuff.
Some of the programmers might take a look at their work from time to time, but management is obviously engaged in "more important" stuff...
Not a single word mentioned about changes to the Quest lines, OR the Achievement system, both of which were revised on the Test version...
Why were we asked to load-test the Island Expansion feature if that won't be implemented?? How are we expected to maintain TWO armies, along with the needed support buildings, without additional space to build and more mining locations??
The actual version that goes live remains to be seen, but so far I'm not very favorably impressed.
So on the test server we were given 5k of each new unit type needed for PVP. But that alone far exceeded the population given. Also there were still thousands of free workers. This suggests that the units dont count against population. Now the question is whether that is part of the system or just on test so that it could be done. It does cost a person to make the unit so that would suggest it should.
If the population needs to be used for these units then it will be hard to support both systems because we would need a similar amount of troops for the pvp as we will for the old system meaning we need almost double the population and therefore the room for those buildings.
With the combat mechanics for the current PvP system, the number of troops is significantly lower than with the normal/PvE system. Essentially, all the units are active as far as attack and defense, so players will not be forced to maintain reserves of men. The number of troops allowed to be used for each PvP expedition is capped, and the majority of these troops will be lost in the course of battle. Unless your PvE army is fairly small, it would be a gross exaggeration to say you will need double your current population. For all but the higher tier difficulty expeditions, the total amount of troops available will be less than the normal losses for a full experience Black Knights or a short-version of Roaring Bull now, and no where close to the normal losses of a fairy tale adventure.
The only significant problem with troops that is not an issue with the PvE adventures is that the time allowed for the PvP expeditions is much shorter than that given for adventures. So it is really necessary to have all the troops ready prior to starting an expedition, as there will likely be not enough time to create a significant number of troops while running the expedition. The marshals will be needed, but with the large capacity transport ones available, transport of troops to the expedition will not be a problem, as there is no significant transit time to get to an expedition. However, there is a transit time for returning from the expedition, so it is advisable to plan what troops you will need before starting.
Well i can agree perhaps double is too much. However you are not taking into account that you have 5 or 6 hours to take a colony. You keep it for minimal 12 hours. You can have 6 of these. So we already have 4x more losses if you want to fill up your free colony storage areas (6x if you buy the extra slots but prices are unreasonable). But now after 12 hours they are fair game so there is a chance you lose all 4 in 12 hours. This means find another 4 and conquer and rinse lather repeat.
So although double is a bit much it is not as few as you would imply either.
Thanks everyone for your feedback and suggestions.
I will compile everything and forward it to the development team.
We will soon publish a tutorial video with additional information about PvP, so keep tuned!

since loot on old adventures is being changed loot tables would be nice...i know weapons are out but what about the first slot stuff, you know the reason we do adventures
It's inevitable, regardless of what feedback they get.
The fact they are completely screwing their gem buyers with these changes to loot makes me think they want ot kill the game.
I appreciate the enthusiasm, but that is barely PvP in the traditional sense... First, the other player may or not be on; Then there is the HUGE issue that no matter what happens, we lose the island in a week!? I mean, what, does a magical breeze come through and take it away?! No sense.
I thought that way too, and I am not convinced otherwise yet. The entire new system is a resource meat grinder, which you lose after 7 days, if you were able to keep it that long. What I did notice with the mega (anti-player changes, all of them) combat system changes to the old system, they are trying to force us to give up our old ways and take this new avenue.
If the expansion system is anything close to what is on the test server, I won't waste a single resource on anything to do with it. I'll continue only with the old system that does not completely screw me.
lol, Yeah, I know. I recently submitted a ticket on that type of issue... BB spends no time getting back to the 'regular' players, only on euro servers on stuff in development. Remember how the whole PvP system just disappeared from all the forums (at least no responses from BB)... Same with demo buffs, guild bank; now island expansion... In business, communication with the customers is normally desirable.
Well, not sure where to start... The new system is WAY too resource demanding to be of use to many players who do not already have hundreds of thousands of the resources in question... The test server gives us, what, 500k of everything, so it is workable there, on our home islands, along with other normal (and old system troops), that kind of resources will not be available to sustain an effective attack, then hold... only to have it all stripped away in 7d regardless. For not that many resources in return... idk. I am sure a few will be able to do so.
Next, No details of new loot, what enemies were given better attacking and what enemies give more/less exp. We would really appreciate knowing what we are losing/gaining (seems that is all losing, with exception of enemies which either give less experience or do more damage to our troops). Odd since when improvements to a game come out, most are good for the players in my experience... Not in TOS.
Any detailed info would be nice.
At this point my real interest is in whether or not that BB is reading the posts. Looks like a lot of people came out of hiding to put in their 2 cents. Seems that most people are unhappy with the coming changes and many others are confused (due to lack of information most likely). To be continued...
Fairy Tale adventures become brutal after the 25th
yep they arn't easy anymore.
Too bad there isn't a couple things added to the shop for beans that would encourage people to experience them in their new form.
i tried pvp again. captured a colony, fortified it. got a notice that i had won the colony. 10 hours later i got another mail saying someone had defeated it from me. so much for the 12 hour safety zone. also i didnt see any evidence of '6 hour loot' ... my storehouse was already maxed for ewl, and there wasnt any drops in my star menu or mail. just a few valor points and star coins.
i very much doubt the devs read the forums. i have sent concerns directly to endesmor before and he said he would forward them to the team. im sure he tries to keep up with what people are saying. bottom line though, the devs in germany are going to do what they think its best for their business.
If the devs actually played this game on the regular basis or listen/talk to "old school" type players they would completely understand what is best for business.
It is a staffing issue. They have cut staff and are probably stretched really thin, and bluebyte has other titles releasing recently/soon.
It will be out real soon and then we will get to see and worry, for today farm granite:)
i would say that farming for expert weapons is prob a better investment than granite
ugh we have to use building license to put up the 2 new required buildings?? should have given us to to make up for it.
a rollback....lol
all kidding aside, not much thought was put into this. ok 2 buildings, so what do i tear down, 5 reg garrisons and 2 QM sized ones, where do we land these guys. for a few players landing gens and loading them meant tearing down a FM and replacing when done, so what now? either just do expeditions and star the others or start adventures just so gens leave to land the others? imo just poor planning
now that I've made it to lvl 50 and have no room for the new buildings. Now that my island is unsustainable I will not be back for 2 weeks till its fixed. If it is not fixed then I will be leaving this game ,which is ashame since I like this game a lot and spend a min of $50 a month on it. U have left me with no choice cause there's no way to fix my island unless I remove everything and start all over again which I will not do since all of my buildings r either lvl 4 or lvl5 and it would take months to replace everything to even half of what I have now its taken a year to get where I am now.
None of the popups that appear beside my avatar are showing, using star, quest, explorer, and geo menu's are all taking 30-60 secs to load when you open/use them. Chat takes about 10 secs to actually load when i change chat tabs and isn't loading correctly for a few secs even then.
Instead of making us move things around to undue the changes you've made to production times, why not just change all of the production times in the chain?
Where are the new islands? Can't do pvp till we get them. Probably not getting them like a lot of things we were supposed to get (skill tree for island)!
Ok in all honesty its not that much more space required. You need 2 spots for the new buildings, and then the new generals might need 1 spot or two.
There are some really well done changes here hidden, like the fact you can now send everything direct to storage from loot, FT adventures loot tables are MUCH MUCH better. You can send multiple generals to an adventure at 1 time. Weapons out of loot tables. Increased depo drops for iron. In some ways its a job very well done.
Lag not so well done. Clicking 25 troops at a time NOT good. Clicking 25 weapons at a time TERRIBLE. Troop composition hovering when your mouse is over a camp for blocks BAD,
Temporary production changes I can live with, expeditions I can ignore, but fix the lag.
Weapons 25 at a time? 72 iron bars per new cav? This is a complete joke. Forget about tearing down some nobles to make room for the new buildings and gens. PVP pop is shared with your adventure pop. Congratz BB, I will be actively looking for a new game.
Hello everyone,
I have decided to split the thread in two to make it easier for everyone to leave feedback.
Most of the feedback I received was mixing up both aspects of the PvP update. By splitting up the threads, the discussions will be centered on a particular set of issues/features and I will be able to forward clear feedback and suggestions to the team.
Please leave your feedback in the appropriate thread.
The general discussion can continue here, I will moderate this thread for a while and move posts to the right thread.

not sure where this should go.... don't like pvp period... get it out of this game
so nice that there is now advantages for people who like pvp... but normal game players get lower rewards for adventures...
is it time to find a new game..... just might be
The bigger problem Omega is that BB continues to roll out new systems, without fixing the old ones. How about they fix the stupid 25 limit in barracks? Queue for the bookbinder? Whisper bug (2.5 years and counting)? I don't care about the weapons, but I bet the new guys leveling in their 30's do. Not to mention that it will be all but impossible to balance any size weapon chain at all. Coal is a MAJOR holdup. Even using the cutters bug, you will be hard pressed to build a chain for anything but regular adventures. With the new PVP system the cost of pvp troops are horribly disproportionate to rewards gained. All in all it looks like a Hail Mary on BB's part, and I see it being a major fail.
I haven't seen anything significant enough to create much change for me, but don't go by me. I imagine I play different than most. In this sort of game, I'm a turtle, just sitting back and building my economy and then using my troops when I must. In any case, as much as I might like to spread my wings eventually to harder adventures, after I hit level 50, it doesn't seem like I should bother.
Outlaws has gotten a lot more expensive (not sure if just panic because they pulled it from the shop or what), though still reasonable, and I think I will have way more coal than I need thanks to the two new recyclers, which I don't think was really part of the plan but just a lucky accident that the community (barely) voted in favor of it. I can see how people would easily run out of iron and coal, though, and don't even get me started on titanium, not to mention the exotic wood and granite required to purchase these high level weapon makers. Do I really want to spend 42k exotic wood planks and 28k granite to put up everything (level 1) on that last tab? Not particularly.
My interest in PVP was slim to none, and what I'm hearing makes it sound like none wins out. Of course, if I were a heavy adventurer, I would be upset over the game being drastically changed for what to me is a useless feature. I don't get why one has to impact the other.
[17:01] [ELY] Raubhautz: WTF? Are you kidding me??? Invasion of the nords no longer has the premium stuff?Quote:
(This is a copy of a post originally in '[FEEDBACK] PvP & Colonies / new combat system', but was advised by BB support this issue belongs here.)
I had 13 'Invasion of the Nords' in my inventory prior to this ridiculous set of changes. NOWHERE did it say that the premium prizes were to be removed from IotN. Weapons, yes - out of all... other adventures were changing prices/method of payment...
So, I purchased at 1495 gems these POS adventures that do not even have a ls to sell, to get the premium items they had (Frozen Manor, Arctic Mine and the Rainbow Snow). NOBODY will pay 1495 gems without having something to earn.
I run one today (my first IotN since this 'update'), and what do I get? NOTHING in slot 7. It appears that BB in their haste to remove weapon slots in the loot spots, also removed the slot 7 for IotN which had the FM, AM or Rainbow Snow.
I will be looking for a full refund of the remaining 12 IotN adventures. No way I will run them for that pathetic loot.
BB/UBI, thank you for pushing me closer to the door. This game was really fun. Now it is not even honest.
Below is a snapshot of the loot:

A little investigation via the wiki's shows that UBI/BB deleted the slot 6 loot spot, the one which contained the premium items.
