Woohoo~
Wait, I thought PVP was coming soon?
;)
More room on the map???????????? That is above the word outstanding and wowwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Love these news BB_Endesmor! :)
if anyone remembers these buffs costs GEMS and really didn't make that much room, considering you can't move store houses a player with lvl 5 store houses will be losing either the space gained or the resources and time it took to lvl them up. any added space is welcomed but imo the expansion islands would have been WAYYYYYYY nicer
WOW! Totally looking forward doing non military adventures. As long as we can make buffs to complete them using resources (without gems, and gems items in the store). Can't wait to test it out. Thank you!
It would nice to have limited (free) stump (tree) removal, to place buildings!!
Will TSO please consider adding another adventure slot? With normal adventures, expeditions, and now buff adventures, it would seem a 3rd slot for adventures could be in order.
Thank you for this consideration while in the testing phase.
finally we get non-military adventures, best news I've heard in a long time :)
Deja Vu .. i believe this was tried already and you guys were now trying out extra land on map, instead of blowing stuff up?
But however you guys are doing it.. extra space is great.
The scenarios will give experience, right? If so, it's about time that we have a method where people that don't like playing militarily or can't log on regularly can advance in levels out of the 30s.
I would this new expansion, I think this will be great new update.
BB how about a new building where we could keep all our generals? that would save a lot of space as well.
New content is nice. I'll withhold judgement until I've tried it out on test. My only concern is what this means for the expansion islands. Those were a much better option for new space then the mountain removal. And they weren't going to cost us tons of real money just to get extra space like the mountain removal does. The expansion islands were probably the best new idea that has been introduced to the game in the last year and very well received by everybody. It was a very exciting new feature. Are those still a future option? Because if we are getting mountain removal instead of expansion islands it just feels like another cash grab to me.
Are the Mountain demolitions in addition to or in place of the expansion islands?
Can't wait!
Does this mean we can look forward to actual expansion islands?
So this was tested what 2 yrs ago? And it vanished and we thought it was a failed experiment now it's returning? Does that mean we have to wait 2 yrs to see island expansion again on testing?
BB moves in stange ways.
New version deployment was postponed again.
On Dec 12th BB said there is a new version coming, then deployment was postponed. After 4 weeks they dangle the carrot again, with a bit of fanfare this time, deployment date Jan 8th. Postponed for Jan 9th... Postponed again for "next week". I have very little trust in anything they are doing, it looks like nobody is in charge of this project anymore. Let's say you are in a relationship with somebody, you invested lot of time and probably money, but that somebody keeps disappointing you over and over and over and over and over again. How long until the break-up? I think I need a "Dr. Phil" intervention...
The "Mountain Buff" is an addition. We are still working on the expansion islands.
This is about the Test Server, it means that features are not final and still require some work. Nobody would have been there during the weekend to monitor the servers. We need a few more days before we can deploy this feature.

If I go to my boss saying I will finish a task by tomorrow, and tomorrow I say next day, and next day I say next week...what do you think he is gonna tell me?
I would also like to make a comment about working weekends. This is what Ubisoft/BB have claimed (exactly 2 years ago):

When you have so many players (read "customers"), I would expect 24/7 customer service. Am I wrong to hope for BB commitment to put out a good product ?
lol good customer perspective.
I think this is a good idea. Some adventures that aren't reliant on killing and looting. It's impossible to advance in this game with XP unless you organize your entire plan around violence. I like the supply chain management and marketplace activities of the game. This will be an improvement. I hope there will be more than four eventually.
Hopefully the Buffs will be made from existing, almost useless items like gunpowder or ingredients found on adventures - and not bought with gems.
Where do you get the buffs and how much do they cost?
I can't wait for the new scenarios. Now I can do adventures without killing my men. I hate the killing part.
I think the demolition buffs are a bit pricey for what they offer: 550gems for small (limit 20), 990gems for big (limit 8)
In most cases the small one frees 1 building spot. The big one frees 2-3, depending where you use it. Unfortunately you can't test all the locations, because if the buying limit...
I was under the impression that these Scenarios would be on test server as well. Unless really well hidden looks like they are not being tested. BB can you tell me differently.
(1) I'm REALLY glad to have non-military adventures! However, I couldn't locate any Scenarios on the test server. (2) I'm REALLY disappointed that the buffs may take several hits to demolish AND the buffs are bought with a lot of gems, such as 900 gems for 1 small buff. The only thing I like about the buff itself is watching the FX as the mountain crumbles. But that's over in a second and really doesn't free up that much space. So I'll pass on spending what little gems I have and hopefully there will be an alternative way to get those buffs. :( (3) Could we get a que for the bookbinder? Sure, books take time and expense, but if I know what type I want, why can't I put that order in as well?
+1 for bookbinder -- sometimes the book completes overnight while im sleeping -- and its time wasted waiting for me to log in and que another. its so slow it would be nice to que a few in advance (i know i need 5 manu... why not let me que 5 manu if i have the parts for it!)
+1 on not spending gems... i really was looking forward to having more space... but im not spending hard won gems on it.
The Scenarios will be implemented tomorrow on the Test Server.
Thanks everyone for your feedback!
If I both ran out of space and had run out of stuff to spend gems on, I'd consider spending gems on these, but 2 building spaces for 900 gems seems harsh.
