Mine are not loading when they arrive. They get the counting clock and once they reach a certain % they restart the count down again. I reload and it sometimes fixes the problem, but not always. Took almost 30 minutes 1 time before my gen finally loaded onto an adventure after it was originally supposed to arrive.
Not one of these bugs was created by players. Come on BB lets fix your errors.
running traitors now... seeing gens start transferring .. then halt and start rebuilding in the spot... sent 4 to a new spots... and came back a few min later to find them right back where i left them -- in fact i had unloaded troops 1st and they were all back on the gen too.. !! wth???
update - the vets finally appeared.. still waiting for them to finish their move.. but the tav gens are all getting 50% and restarting over and over... they wont finish landing... even after reloading the adv....
Hello,
We have notified the developers about this issue. This is linked to the Specialist Weeks.
The issue of a combat is not affected.
BB_Endesmor
How long is the specialist, eh bonus, going to last?
Because then we know when the problem will be taken care of, with reliable information and no dev needed...except for disabling it of course.
The IOTP that I cancelled had an issue with combat.
In the first section, I sent the blocking general and then the general to the leader camp. The second general never left his camp, even though it said he was attacking. When the blocking general was a ways out, I retreated both generals. The blocking general jumped into the blocking camp and attacked, the second general jumped to where he should have been had everything gone right, and then retreated. Had to cancel the adventure or lose elites on the block.
I have done quite a few adventures since then without a combat issue.
I noticed that you didn't indicate the developers are working on it, just that they have been notified, so I assume this will be "fixed" when specialist week is over. The last adventure combat issue had to be extremely painful for many, and the pain continued for far too long. Please pass on my appreciation for the excellent developer/BB devotion to player satisfaction.
besides all the LZ landing issues (fast gens relanding 3-5 times over + reg gens doing it like 10+ times over)
on traitors this special week I couldn't get the attack crosshair box thingy to appear when I had it over the last 2 camps!!
it would just disappear - it took over 20 minutes, and w/ way too much frustration, almost killing my mouse
. . . I finally manage to get it to appear (for a split second) so I could send my generals into their attack mode!!
oh, I even had to cancel my 1st ever adventure last night w/ outlaws - on a 3-way block - my vet didn't get intercepted
but instead, he just started attacking one of the blocked camp anyway!! I couldn't believe it!!
- so I just went ahead and cancelled it before I lost any troops!
. . . what were these special ed weeks called again?
Have not had a single problem running Outlaws. Decided to press my luck with Black Knights, and my generals keep loading and loading and loading.
While this problem seems to continue, our developers are coming up with clever ways to time our mines etc. Lets be happy.
Combat is not affected? um....
I guess the fact that I keep getting intercepted on blocks I have run without issues before, losing elites and cannons, is all in my head then.
Hello everyone,
I guess this was only bad luck (or latency?), as the specialist weeks affect only the travel time of generals between islands, it does not change their combat abilities.
When I replied to this post, I used the word "notified" because I did not have any details.
Two weeks, until March 11th.
Blocking is not an intended feature, use it at your own risk.

Wonder whenever that double standard is going to end...oh wait it won't.Quote:

If you mess up a block because you don't know what you're doing or you cut it too close or use the wrong troops, that's on you. If you mess up a block because the game is broken, it's hard to make the same argument.
Fortunately, I haven't had any problems with that yet, just the annoying loading for 5 minutes, which I wonder if it's adventure specific because I've been running Outlaws once a day without the same issue.
ETA: So much for that, now the bug has jumped to Outlaws on me, and now I have generals who have already loaded and had their troops adjusted reloading with their original troop consist rather than moving where I am telling them.
Loading and unloading is not an intended feature, use it at your own risk. :) :)
Another maintenance has pasted and still my gens are loading, reloading, loading some more, and loaded a few more times after that, on my adventures!
Are you guys EVER going to get around to fixing this problem!!!!!
The issue of generals arriving on adventure islands should be fixed with the end of the specialist week yesterday (3/11/2015). If you still are seeing a star or have the general listed as being affected by the bonus, please refresh the client and it will be removed.
The blocking issues are separate from the loading cycles, and the issue of dying generals has been referred to the development team. Some of what is being described is due to system lag issues, where generals do not appear to have accepted commands but later correct suddenly once the client 'catches up' with what is happening on the server. This type of latency issue is difficult to address, as it it is a communication issue and partially dependent on the transmission of information between client and server.
Thank you for the information. However, as of this time my specialists are all still doing specialist week. Both explorers and geos still have the little icon and reduced times. Is this a case of the left hand not talking to the right hand??
Likely you're in like the furthest possible time zone from your server. Just wait another day.
Heh the daily restart is at different time so whenever it reaches whatever hour in your zone, it should turn off. It's a bit strange it hasn't happened by now actually since mine disappeared yesterday around noon so even assuming that I'm in the earliest zone, it should be gone by now for you. Unless you're on european server?
You know what? No, I take it all back. My explorers and geos are without stars, but generals still have them while in transit and still cycle. Arrrrgh.
Right/Left hand. Never the twain shall meet.
Dear BB:
My generals are still not loading to adventures properly. Now generals going in for LS are behaving badly. Taking several minutes to load to an adventure once they arrive, several times I've sent them in to tag and watch them attack the camp only to have them reappear back in their tent awaiting orders! I've had generals I've assigned troops to and moved tear down their tent, move across an adventure start to rebuild their tent only to appear back at the starting point with the troop count they had when I reassigned them new troops and a new position! Thankfully I've only had this happen once, but I've had a gen win a battle, return home to go into recovery with troops still assigned to them! I've had a day waisted because my scouts were in limbo. They finished their search but I couldn't access them to send them back out again but they were minus time for their search. I'm still unable to see the troop count in the leader camps on several kinds of adventures, making DB a pain in the butt to run when I have know idea how many turds are inside unless I do 1 attack at a time and go through the stupid mail thingy! LS players don't want to be tied into a LS for that long.
The pop-ups that show what's in a gen's tent or an enemy camp (when it does work that is) would be nice if we could turn that off if we like or have a much longer response time before it activates. It can interfere with attacks at times.
I do hope you are planning on fixing these bugs before you give us more bugs with the upcoming event!
You keep saying blocking is not an intended feature, so does this mean we can continue to expect inconsistent game play behavior when using blocks. I went and found another game to play a month or so ago when I lost 380 elites doing Surprise Attack to an acknowledged game play issue. At that time I contacted support and was told the behavior generals were displaying was a known issue and that there would be a compensation package to all players when it was fixed. I am still waiting for that package because at lvl 44 losing 3800 damascene swords is quite the blow.
Hello,
Narasn, the best you could do is to get in touch with Customer Support again. Submit another ticket, and ask about your damascene swords and the gift package again.
I'm not familiar with their procedures.
About the blocks, when we say that we do not support it, we mean that we will not refund any dead troop because of failed blocks. If there was a legitimate problem and your troops died because of it, you can request a refund.
Cordially,
