So... first, let me thank you for making it where my explorers are returning with treasure about every 2 minutes now.... this is gonna be so nice, once ALL those treasures show up in my mail.... I have to admit... 3-4 minutes turnaround on treasure beats 3-4 hours.....

Sent explorers out on an adventure searches and they all returned immediately with no adventures even thought the box popped up saying they found adventures. No adventures, no scenarios either...
I sent my explorer out on medium treasure searches and they return within minutes with nothing also. Specifically, the Experience Explorer and the Savage Scout but not the Lucky Explorer. I will test out the tavern Explorer in two hours.
This seems to happen when you change zones.
My explorers returned this morning from last night's treasure search, but there was no treasures.

My Explorer returns about 3 times a minute with NO treasure. Another great BB maintenance success story.

I have cleared cache, cookies, etc... Still having issues.
I am now not sending the explorers out, but the system is reporting that they have come back every minute on the minute.
It is now up to ~15-30 seconds
Please don't have them waste looking into it (or rather getting another cup of coffee and don't give 2 damns about it). Just tell them to deactivate that 20% specialist bonus and call it a day. All complains and issues will be solved, win-win situation. Alas, BB likes a lose-don't care situation more.Quote:

I seem to have problems with my explorers.
I sent 2 regular , and 1 experienced explorers on a short adventure search, and they returned within one minute without any result. Sent 'em again and I've got the same. They returned in a minute bringing back nothing. the cost, coins and sausages were of course deducted both times.
Now I stopped sending 'em, but the message: your explorer ha returned keeps popping up.
My treasure hunters go out and return 30 seconds later, it says with treasure, but they return with nothing. So at the moment I can't send them out, and I can't discover new mines either. And it is asking me to fulfill the In Waiting guild quest when the current one is still waiting for others to do it. The game is seriously screwed up after this patch.

I was looking for similar issues, but did not find this thread, or overlooked, because of the title:P
My treasure explorers are fine it appears, but my adventure explorer is just showing 'time remaining: -[random number] seconds'.
I'm not changing zones, have been only on my home island, and I'm getting him "finding treasure", too. Mine's now happening every 30 seconds or so. I've tried sending him out on a search, only to have him come back really soon afterwards, with the gold/food refunded that I had spent for the search. I will say that I prefer his laugh over the unintelligible nasal gibberish that the geologists say.
Oh, and my men jog between buildings at about the same frequency, but not necessarily at the same time that the explorer has "found treasurer". It's almost like the server is resetting itself each time, but my men seem to be jogging like they're supposed to (e.g. one guy will jog the first time from his mine to the storehouse, the second time from the storehouse back to the mine, the third time will be a different guy jogging from his farm to the storehouse, fourth will be a return trip).
Glad to know I'm not the only one having problems. My explores were sent out yesterday and should have been back hours ago but none have returned. I guess they're lost until further notice. ^-^
My lucky explorers all returned with artifacts.
My 13 other explorers returned at the same time. No treasure. I sent them on searches. Clicked refresh. They were all back. They keep returning and returning and returning and returning and returning. I'm being spammed with messages multiple times per minute per explorer telling me they have returned. Still no treasure. And they still won't go away. I wonder what happens when I click refresh again. Oh. They return again. What happens if I try in IE? Oh, hello again my treasureless friends. And again and again and again. I'll do some basic maintenance, but I'll mostly have to take the night off because these messages are a nuisance.
Sending one of them on a short treasure search seems to have resolved my woes. None of them are of any value, but at least they don't keep coming back until I load my island again.
So I figured it out. All of these explorers who keep coming back... they're not really back yet. Once they really come back for real, they begin cooperating. While they're still on the search, they play with my head.
when u send the treasure hunter out they actually use the sausages and gold... took me several times to realize this... now i need to buy sausages... but i have no gold... i can always sell the stuff my explorer brought back.. oh wait... sigh...
I sent my Lucky Explorer on a short search, hoping he'd bring back one of these new "scenario" adventures, so I could check it out. I didn't see the rewards listed in the Dev's Diary release about it.
Anyway, my explorer is now "stuck" in that search. His progress bar is empty, and the time remaining steps from -1 seconds to -59 seconds and then goes back to -1.
I logged out and back in, that didn't help. So I emptied the browser cache, and now I'm going through the long process of loading the game, something I really dread doing more than once per login, since I play from libraries that have virtual environments, so nothing is ever cached when you log into their system.
Edit: And clearing the browser cache and restarting did not help. My Explorer is stuck :(

Hopefully fixed tomorrow. The fix: remove the dreaded bonus week. Although despite the bugginess, I've actually quite liked this one. I've managed to get in some extra searches, and I'm liking how fast my jolly geologist is moving.
Well, my explorer finally came back with map fragments. Now I'm scared to do adventure searches until this bug is fixed completely. I read somewhere in that thread you posted that some explorers are just going back out on their own without human intervention, charging the player sausage and gold for the possibly unwanted trip.Quote:

So then he did find the mine. Then I tried to build it. Then he found it again. Not sure if I used the resources building it. Maybe if I just wait 20 minutes, he will behave.
Okay I had to send the 3 out for a different choice then I normally would, and they seem to be okay.
Follow-up: They just came back again, and one of the explorers brought back something. I have no idea if this is a new find or an old find that finally appeared.
This is fun stuff.
I thought the generals endlessly rebuilding was annoying - this explorer bug is even worse. :(
Half of my explorers are stuck. the timers on them shows -5 or -50sec and after 14 hrs (12 hrs search) there are still ... looking for something.
Anybody else?
lots of issues with explorers not to mention the "blocking" bug. When you block it is successful --you lose no troops but gen shows as wounded so you cannot access the troops or gen for 4 hrs
Either 30ish min(Sometimes as soon as 2-3 min) after sending them on very long searches, get news notifcation that they 'have found treasure' but there is nothing in mail(Yes I refreshed) and have to send them out again. Sent same explorers(12) out now 3-4 times each and all return either moments(right after i send last one all 12 return) or 30ish minutes(not exactly sure, but left pc and came back 30min later and explorers were waiting)

It lags slightly every time the msg pops. It feels like it's trying to complete the action of sending the mail, is unable to and instead get stuck on the loop of announcing the message.
I send out 2 tavern explorers on adventure search. Within a couple of minutes I get the "lost connection" window. Within a minute connection is back and so are the 2 explorers. Sometimes I do not get the lost connection, just explorers back with nothing.
It sure would be nice, and also good business practice to let us know about how the work to correct these bugs is coming along. If in fact there is any work being done at all.
