What is the exchange rate of eggs to coins during removal phase II?
I really like the way the event has turned out. New players will have a chance to walk away with 4 new gens and probably a +150 residence. And from what i'm seeing there it looks like people that were around last year will have a chance to get a third mma. It's looking pretty great imo. Get the new adventure bugs fixed by Easter and i'll be very happy :)
1:1 i am sure
Sweet..looks like we can get an extra MMA and Vet. This is going to be a good event. Is the arctic iron mine going to be upgradeable to match a regular level 6 iron mine?
I didn't see that....well that kinda sucks.
can DEV solve the arctic mine upgrade issue before the event starts?
So I will get a 3rd MMA, and next year a 4th, and in 2017 a 5th....and what's the point ?
Event looks pretty good for relatively new players. Boring as hell for old players.
The Arctic Iron Mines will produce at the same rate as a Level 5 Iron Mine.[/QUOTE]
What is the logic behind this? I'd gladly pay all the tools in addition to the grout to bring it up to level 6.
Anyone know what "Treats splash damage" means?Quote:
Name: Master of Defense (Limit: 1*)
Description: Special General. Recovers and travels to an adventure island twice as quick as a Tavern General. He deals a decent amount of damage.
He has a very high amount of Hit Points and leads up to 200 units. Treats splash damage, attacks weakest target first.
Price: 3,450 Stripy Eggs
The inability to save the stripy eggs is going to be a big disadvantage for a more casual player. That said, I do like the idea not being able to hoard. Given the sheer amount of stuff to buy, I hope the drop rates for this are really liberal.
"Treats" means "deals with" in my dictionary. My guess would be it disables the enemy units' splash damage abilities...\/O\/
well, seeing as how the MMA is also listed as "treats splash damage" i would say this was an attempt to say it does the same thing as the mma. it deals splash damage...
does anyone know how much damage and how many hp this general has though?
Yay for another MMA. Will probably buy another vet.
Curious about Master of Defense, if any good.
Like the residences and watermills.
The exchange rate needs to be fair enough so that it's not robbery but not so high that people will hoard them instead of trading. I imagine something like 5 coins would be fair.
I saw a rumor wiki of how points are earned for upgrading the Easter residence but not possible to get to l6 even if all things are accomplished will it be able to to save the Easter points for upgrade next year ?
It is possible, but so many points are from expeditions that it's not worth bothering.
If players have not learned by now, the information from sneak peaks and from the test server is preliminary information and can change before the final version of the game. The achievement levels for the Easter house that have been posted on the Developer's Diary are not the same as those that were previously given on the test server.
From the achievement list, which is currently the same as that in the live game currently, these are the cumulative points available by top achievement:Find 3000 eggs from explorers: 115 points
Finish 'Garrun the Trapper' (once): 20 points
Finish 'Where Do Eggs Come From' 5 times: 60 points
Collect 1200 eggs from adventures: 220 points
Complete all 4 Easter quest lines: 180 pointsTotal: 595 pointsThere is an additional total of 220 points from the expeditions. However, as the Level 6 Easter House only requires 570 points, you do not need to do the expeditions at all if you complete all the other sections of the achievements. It will take effort and persistence to complete the achievements at the top levels, but that is why they are considered achievements.
sounds good to me :)
Excellent Magenta. I didn't really have a problem with the old setup as walking away with a 150 residence was already pretty nice. But obtaining the eggs from expeditions was going to be so costly it just wasn't worth it. I doubt many would have even bothered. This change will allow anybody who puts forth the time to obtain the 180 pop. Kudos.
sorry I was thinking the points went way when you upgraded like coins or granite thinking you would need more points needing 1015 points total
Good, that's not bad actually. I should be able to get through those requirements. No way I'm wasting all my resources on even a single expedition.
From the test forum: Problem with easter achievements/easter quest
If this hasn't been corrected there's still plenty of time to work up a patch, but it would be nice to know BB are at least aware the random quest chain order, repeating chains and short amount of time to finish the 4th chain have caused problems before and are, if unchanged, again potential sticking points.
I'd say we're back to it being a very legitimate concern then. I know I got the first quest chain twice last year and was unable to complete the chains.
Thanks for your feedback, I have compiled and forwarded everything.
So, are you ready for the event?
I am very excited for this event. I just hope players of all levels can equally reap the rewards.
thanks for another great event. Im hooked.
dont know if correct thread but here goes.... tying acheivements to pvp is wrong wrong wrong.... pvp is to be voluntary and i dont .... but i cant max acheivements without expedition loot very nice!!!!
^^ +1 -- how inconsiderate to force us to do pvp to get eggs... i hate pvp = its a train wreck and boring as heck imho.
Achievements are also voluntary. There is nothing to gain other than a number on a screen from doing the Easter ones. You can get a fully upgraded Easter Basket residence without touching PVP. And the problem is...?
no one is forcing you to do anything :)
the first quest on one of the easter chain quest was to produce 1k brew, which i refuse to do- that is my own personal choice
