I will have to agree with the following post below:
4 Quest Lines. It is NOT possible to complete all 4 - if the quest gives you duplicates like they did last year.
Hopefully, there are no duplicates.

I like the way BB tried to 'encourage' us to do expeditions in order to attain lvl6 eggy house... BUT, they did offer us the opportunity to do it without having to touch a single colony, by spending eggs... Not bad, at least the option was there. Appreciated.
Still need to fix the Invasion of the Nords issue: Either put the old drop rates back or lower the price to purchase to something more nominal to value it was lowered to.

Per your posting we were supposed to be able to spend our old eggs in a special shop. Where is it?

I have spent money on gems for every event you have had in the past. I did not mind because they were good for the next year.
Well, I spent nothing this year and will never again for an event. You have caused us all to lose faith in you. I want more than gold for my eggs. I don't buy gold. I have plenty of gold!
You need to do as you promised you would, and give us a heads up during the current event that the items will not be good next year.

The server is more mature, the cost of items should go up, I was just reading a thread were people were crying about the fact explorers were no longer bringing 320 eggs per day and crying about a nerf. Previous easter events didn't have eggs drop on adventures.
BB hasn't placed extra cost on you to get event items, they have made it astronomically easier over the years, where anyone with a modicum of activity and common sense can always get the top tier rewards, and most are left trying to figure out what to do with a massive amount of surplus.
Provided that you have the maximum amount of explorers, yes. Other than that, the only way to get that Easter building to level 6 is by doing PvP. Players should not be forced to do PvP. That was the whole point of the thread you are referring to.Quote:

well another wasted night .... no log in might as well have played something else
been almost 3 hours. wasted time that i couldnt send exp out for the cheese point egg collection. if you have tons of exp thats a easy quest but with only a few need all the sends per day you can get. this past 3 hours would have been ??? eggs. oh well.
With the exception of the explorers nerf to the eggs return.
This event is rather decent. Better than the previous years. The strippy eggs are a lot easier to see than the previous years. No extra junk to collect on your island and crafting baskets and eggs.
The achievement building was a good idea. Glad they made it so that PvP was not required considering how hard it is to obtain eggs from expeditions.

ok I think I might have missed it but if I haven't I would like to point out we are MID EVENT... aka REMOVAL PHASE I.... and then ask again as someone asked earlier in the thread:
What is the egg to coin exchange rate?
For the We Need Friends sub-quest, why can't the settlers I create in the PH count towards this? I was trying to complete this subquest before midnight my time by creating settlers (which is also the wording in the text), but apparently they don't apply towards the sub-quest. This was within my 4th Easter quest that I just got yesterday.
The decrease in time for the quest chains was helpful and if it sticks will be even more helpful in future events. I managed to get through 5 quest chains, 4 of which were unique.
The unique residence with upgrades based on achievements was a nice change of pace. I found the path ultimately achievable without much trouble, though I could see how someone could get screwed by its implementation, notably random quest chains.
The nerfing of explorers part way through and then saying "We don't know how to fix it" (hint: revert back to the way it was at first so that people could get more than intended part of the event after having gotten less than intended for part of it) and never being able to fix it for the entire event was a problem with multiple easy solutions that never materialized, which I can only assume was deliberate.
Ultimately, I found the overall experience to be a good one thanks to the changes made after the sneak peak. I picked up all 4 specialists plus 2 floating residences and found the eggs in just enough supply to be able to do that. I didn't find I was lacking but had maybe about several hundred more than I needed.
Second MMA is huge. That makes the event for me, and I put it to great use already during the event. Picked up the other three just in case. For now, I'm just using the second vet for some extra troop ferrying and to save several minutes of waiting time per adventure, which is nowhere what I'm getting out of the MMA but does provide some benefit. Though I'm not doing PVP yet, I picked up the marshal just in case, and though he's useless so far, I don't want to be left in the dust just in case MOD gets buffed to something helpful.
Only other thing I would have liked was another explorer, but overall very pleased with my haul.
I just got the 5th quest this morning. Built lots of brewers to meet that before work, to see the 'very long search' 50 eggs. All my explorers were on very long searches. Got home from work to see NONE return with eggs.
5th quest. More eggs yay!

I think this is an error on their part. I don't believe we are supposed to get another quest chain now.
But many did get 5th quest.. and only those who have the one to find eggs using explorers, will not be able to finish it.. Rest will get decent number of extra eggs from their 5th Quest and be happy to get any remaining items from the shop...Quote:

wow this thread has short bursts of "fun" doesn't it? absolutely buried my post on the 8th of April but the thread stops dead in its tracks afterwards... interesting.... very interesting.
and being I have seen no reply on eggs to coins I am assuming what someone else assumed somewhere else. one coin per egg. and until otherwise stated I think that is how its going to sadly turn out to be.
yes -- i didn't trust that we would be appropriately compensated w/ their eggs to coin ratio -- given in the past it was 1:1... while if i had bought eggs w/ gems the value is more 1:32 coins..... so i sold my eggs before i could get ripped off. :)
I still see people selling eggs for 46 coins each, well above what they've been going for the rest of the event. I hope they get stuck with them.
