Hello BB,
I believe I am not the only in here would love a building that is specifically designed to house our generals. I wouldn't mind if it took up equivalent space to the Majestic Residence but had the option to house our growing number of Generals.
Great Idea!!!!!!!!!! Just think of all the free space we'll have to fill with stuff like Imp. Silo's or Imp. Storage. It could even change looks a little with the number of generals owned.

I like this. You could have the generals instantly leave instead of walking to the nearest storehouse as well.
why not not just be able to load gens with troops from the star menu?

There is a building already in game where the generals, and other specialists, were previously held in - the tavern. As it is a wasted building for players once they have purchased all the specialists (or all the ones they intended to buy), it would serve as a continued reason for keeping one on your island. And it would also prevent people from removing the tavern to avoid certain buffs...
+1 Put them back into tavern :)
I still think the generals should go in the barracks and the marshals in the academy.
Hello, my name is ShuttlePilot, and I am a tavern removing fiend. Please (don't) stop me before I remove it again. The thought of having a "General Assembly" (couldn't help myself) building is outstanding. I say we name it Old Bedlam and let the wild rumpus begin!
If it's going to be a new building, I vote for it being a "floating fort" or something else that can be built on the water...

(larger version of the general icon)... and i agree - the marshalls are cluttering my island too - and i cant even put them in star if i want to.

was this same (Or similar idea) put forth before. Many times before. Each time a BB commented on how it was a marvelous idea. Each time the thread eventually got buried and forgotten.
Yes. It was. Many very similar other ideas too. Not gonna happen. Freeing up space means less 'mountain removal' buffs sold, cutting oh so deeply into bb's tiny profit margins :P
Sounds good, put them in the tavern, they deserve a beer after battle.
And have them leave without walking to the mayors house or storehouse.
It would be really, really nice to have a special building to house all generals when they are home.
I currently have 23 generals, and that's 23 spaces that are taken up for no good purpose.
I could even go with an oversized building like a Mag Res that held a fixed number, say 10 or 15; or an upgradeable building that held more gens for higher levels.
Say level 1 - 5 gens, level 2 - 10 gens, and so on.
The addition of the shottfire buffs was a nice idea, albeit poorly executed due to requiring gems to get them.
This could be an item purchased w star coins, since most folks w this problem are higher level 50s.
Just adding my two cents.
The generals go to your star menu if your island doesn't have space. A new building need not be bigger than 2x2 square however. :)
Yeah, they go to star when there's no room for them to land, but unless you plan on leaving them there untouched, you have to deploy them to your island to load troops back up. And that takes up space, which leads me back to my original comment. The four marshals I obtained for PvP currently sit idle in my star (where they will doubtless remain for eternity), but that's not a solution for generals I plan on using.
As for the real estate, I agree.... 2x2 would be about right. Anything beyond that would be silly.
Why not give us floating docks we could build that would hold eight generals and a storehouse? Let the generals land and garrison there.
