well its been down for 12.5 hrs now on newfoundland (euro servers), still no eta on end of maintenance

guessing all those 2.2289 per 1 egg or whatever it was is confusing the maint script. why they didnt just do 2 or 3 coins per egg i dont know, the script probably also has to scan all your mails, starmenu, and storehouse for leftover eggs. and it has to do this for every player account, probably be done just in time for next tuesdays maintenance
currently 6hrs 45mins overrun on euro servers, on the announced 8am approx finish time

What if the gold to eggs conversion equation involves an irrational number like pi? Would explain why the estimated conversion goes out to so many decimal places. Would also explain why servers are stuck… why cant the answer to everything be 42 like it is in real life?!?! lets get geordi or scotty to fix this. No more “you shall not pass” message on the servers. Time to make the kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. Jonny 5 is alive. I blame the cylons.

Ok - my new theory: some idiot posted a trade at the last possible second for eggs and the trade has to die before they can run the egg payout.
Oh, and they broke it.
The two main things I lose during an extended maintenance are a book cycle (since no bookbinder queue) and explorer searches, so this gift package was the perfect way to make good on that. Thanks.
