Did you know?

At the speed of 1 expedition a week - it will take you roughly 20 years to complete the achievements? You can get married, have kids and become a grandparent and still not be finished with the game... :)

When it comes to securing employment BB shines, don't they?

Or, like every other pointless update BB has done recently *cough*pvp*cough* most people will ignore it. I know I have.

Did you account for the fact that, once you'll get married, you'd get less time to play, and even lesser time once you have kids..
May be the idea is that you play with your kids, and they continue your game as you die of old age... Perhaps BB is not just securing their employment, but for their generations to come... your generations will play the game, and their generations will... well, I am not sure what BB does.

It took some thinking, but I ripped off my marshals off my island.. wish there was a delete button, and get some of my coins back.. I am that much into ignoring it :)

Best you can do is star them, there they shall stay. lol

don't forget to account for the fact that the achievements "Ace" and "The Boss" do not work. I have conquered at least 30 small islands already, from other players, defeating the listed map bosses, yet "Ace" is stuck at 9 and "The Boss" at 20... So, better plan for eternity....

The developers are aware of this issue and are working on it. A fix should be ready soon.

Are they also aware that it will take 10 years of time to get those achievements done at the speed of 2 expeditions a week? Not to burst their happy bubble but there is no way in hell a free player can do more than 2 expos weekly. In my 61 members guild we got 7 members who do 1 expedition within 7-10 days. We had 10 but those 3 just gave up because after you make a mistake on a block (either lag or a camp placement) your venturing is over. Got to go back and refill your weapons/troops for a new one in a week...

The bug and lag issues coupled with a real unforgiving (to mistakes made) nature of expeditions is what made our guildies drop interest after trying one or two. Devoting your efforts and production for a week or longer making expensive weapons and troops and loosing all of that amazing opportunity for a precious, sweet Hardwood producing island (few logs per 12 hrs) with one mistake... This can really break your spirit man. And a will do it it again.
