Guild Bank suggestions

At one point a guild bank was suggested, the implementation was terrible.

Guilds are not the most useful thing in this game I suggest designing a bank with the following features.

1. It can be managed by the leader or a person designated by the leader as banker.
-it would have to be built on the leaders island or the managers island. if the leader or manager leave the guild the resources will go into guild limbo until a new bank is built on the new leaders or new managers island...

2. It can have an unlimited number of resources put into it by guild members.

3. Increase the number of ranks in the guild by 2-3

4. each rank can be assigned to access/contribute certain types of resources from the bank

Please add more ideas thoughts to this. It would give a lot more relevance to the guilds and help new members in the less active guilds.

With the number of hi levels in the game I really don't see much of a need for a guild bank as there used to be -someone in the guild needs something all they have to do is ask -someone has surplus. Hell can't hardly give resources away most of the time. At least this is the case in active guilds --and if people continue to stay in guilds with 50% in-actives shame on them.

if you make he bank have a blanket affect unlockable by holding a certain amount of material i.e. for every 1 million coins in the guild bank coinages produce 10% faster or for every 10k granite in the bank your explorers are 1% more likely to find granite on a treasure search. you could even go so far as to not give the money back and say invest in the guilds generals like for every 100k steel bars invested in the master of defense every mod in guild gains a special attribute. you could even have 3 or more choices and only be able to invest in 1 with your shares only returning if you leave the guild. just some thoughts

I think the idea is great, however I have 2 questions.

1) Would a guild be able to have more than one bank?

2) If the bank was upgraded to its maximum level and full to its maximum storage capacity would the extra (overstocked) resources the be able to be traded in the trade office?

I would like to see the bank have unlimited storage for the guild. So no maximum. Just like the guild house anyone in the guild could build the physical building. with the ascension order that exists it would make sense to have the guild leader have one and the number 1 and 2 next in line have one just in case something happened and you wanted to make sure it kept running.

I think this would be a great idea for player retention to be honest. One of the major reasons why people don't stick with the game is because it is so incredibly slow. This would allow guilds with high level high resource players to set up major resources that would take someone from level 1-level 40 in a few weeks instead of possible months. If People saw more progress quicker they would be more likely to stay with the game. This is also an idea for player retention ultimately, and the longer a player stays with a game the more likely they are to purchase game currency.

I figured the guild bank was going the way of pvp...We'll see it implemented in 2-3 years.

well they said during the game expo last year that the guild bank was DOA, but who knows

Agreed. I am pretty sure there are a bunch of lvl50 players who would love that option. Here we all agree; whether Expedition player or not, hoarder or not, we all would like to see more space.

At this point in time I'm not sure if additional islands would make a difference. What are the benefits of having an extra 200 building spots ? More wheat? More bread?
