Paperclip trade

Years ago in the early days of the Internet, there were a lot of stupid ideas. WebMD gave away $100 tennis shoes just for creating an account (still got them btw), Internet companies would give away shares of their stock and some guy started with a red paperclip and by making trades he ended up with a house (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_red_paperclip). It was this last idea that gave me the inspiration to try something similar in TSO.

One week ago I started with 1 fish. With the help of many in my guild and on the trade tab, I quickly traded 1 fish for 1 cheese sandwich and then 37gc, 10 granite, 1500 marble, and then 1 small glue. I parlayed the glue into a Black Knights loot spot with loot worth 6043gc . That became 1250 damas, 700 magic beans, 2500 salt, 1600 gunpowder and a HLT and RB ls with loot worth 26,547gc. That became 6500 titanium ore, and then 5000 granite. I then doubled the granite to 10,000 and traded it for 667 tokens.

This morning, almost one week later I donated the 667 tokens to fellow guildie liamlarkin to help him get his first MMA. It was definitely a fun experience and I thank those that participated.
